REVIEW: Missile Tow by Michael Robert

MISSILE TOW by Michael Robert Release Date: November 27, 2025 Review A truly lovely holiday romance. A year after their boyfriends up and leave them for someone else, Chip and Van are ready to move on, they just didn’t necessarily know that until they met. Maybe it was a coincidence, maybe it was the universe. Chip finally comes alive again after a year of being a shell of a man when Van crashes into his life is the town of Missile. With Christmas on the horizon, a snowstorm to keep them snuggled away, and some meddling townfolk to keep things lively, love is in the air. There’s plenty of opportunity to heal in this story, and to choose who you want to be.  Van was a little too ‘peace, love and happiness’ at times, but otherwise their journey was wonderful. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis The hopeful spirit of the holidays. Messages from beyond. Coincidences too obvious to ignore. These are reasons to believe in the magic of Christmas. But can two men, both born...

REVIEW: Unexpected by Garry Michael and Michael Robert

UNEXPECTED by Garry Michael & Michael Robert Release Date: July 26, 2024 Review Two novellas by incredibly talented husband who consistently brings us unique romances. They are well known for their character development. And these two stories aren’t any different. Bare Naked by Garry Michael Naked Survivor - where contestants are paired together and dropped into the Canadian wilderness with basically nothing but their wits and a camera. And the winner is the last pair standing.  This pair - Erik and Drew - a woefully unprepared student and the previous season's winner. I love a romance bubble. Just the two of them trying to survive together, and needing stay warm *wink, wink, nudge, nudge* It’s a well-developed romance with a break that leads to a swoony Hollywood style happy ending. Hate at First Sight by Michael Robert This is the second story I’ve read recently with a fire watch tower, and I’m hereby asking for more. Remote wilderness and a one-room tower are the perf...

REVIEW: Take Me Wtih You by Michael Robert

TAKE ME WITH YOU by Michael Robert Release Date: June 9, 2023 Review Michael Robert writes such dynamic and interesting stories, with so much care and emotion and with men that are so intriguing and complex. He really has become a favourite author. Take Me With You…is hard to explain in a way that truly captures it. But I adored it, through and through. Two men whose lives are worlds apart. One from old money. And another from a small town, who barely knew any money. In the beginning, we meet them both in their separate lives.  Bo. A sweet young man who faces the heartbreak of rejection and lost love. Followed by the loss of the grandmother that raised him. He lives an isolated life, alone on an island with limited contact with anyone else. It doesn’t take long to fall for the kind, sweet man. And crack at the pain he feels. Hayes comes from old, uber-wealthy money. Yet it’s clear he doesn’t love the world of wealth. He’s also been living in the closet with his partner of 10...

REVIEW: Rescue Me, Daddy by Michael Robert

RESCUE ME, DADDY by Michael Robert Release Date: March 31, 2023 Review Michael Robert is a craftsman storyteller.  The setting, the people, and the layered characters are all pretty amazing. He transports you to his world, where you can practically taste, touch, and smell it. Rescue Me, Daddy had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see how things were going to progress. This is on the darker side with abuse as a central piece of the story. But there is of course, hope, love, and new starts to balance it from getting to be to all-consuming. Davis, a successful author needs a life change and moves to the small town of Valentine Nebraska. There he finds Tim. Young and sweet. In some ways, he seems younger than he is from the sheltered life he’s lived, but at the same time, he is strong and self-assured. Something about him calls to him to protect and make him his own. In the midst of everyday life in this town with a story, Davis and Tim find they don’t just like each other, t...

Release Blitz, Excerpt & Giveaway: Rescue Me, Daddy By Michael Robert TIM MILLER My life in Valentine, Nebraska, wasn’t easy. At just nineteen, I found myself homeless and jobless with no prospects on the horizon. A life of abuse crushed people, but I still had space in my heart for love. With the support and guidance of an elderly widower, my life finally began to turn around. Being young and gay in a small town brought challenges but I had goals for my life, one of which was to be loved. The arrival of a world famous author to our small community turned my world upside down. What did I have to offer a man like Davis? I have nothing but my heart. I hope it’s enough. DAVIS HILL After the end of my five-year relationship in Malibu, I was desperate for change. Even though my career was successful, I could still use an infusion of ideas for my next book. So I did the unthinkable and decided to randomly stick a pin in a map and relocate. My friends may have labeled me insane, bu...
