CONCENTRATION PLAY Leather and Lattes - Book Five by Katherine McIntyre Release Date: August 4, 2026 Review Everyone is the perfect match for the right person! And one's heart can love more than once. As James and Nolan learn after a hawt session at Whipped. It’s not a smooth ride, though.  James is still grieving his husband, and Nolan is tainted by people of the past who can’t handle his OCD and mental health. But James just accepts it all, makes space for it, which takes Nolan a while to learn to trust. And Nolan helps James see that he can love and be loved again. To have fun again. But while trying to figure all that out, they are also working together to fight off an attack on Whipped by a rival club.  It’s a great story. A meaningful romance and some fun play time to boot Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Nolan’s new roommate is no other than his boss’s ex—hot, his perfect match…and a widower who’s not ready to move on. AUDIO REVIEW: Made to Oder by Brigham Vaughn (Naughty in Pendleton #3)

Image
MADE TO ORDER Naughty in Pendleton - Book Three by Brigham Vaughn Release Date: July 9, 2021 Audio Release Date: July 14, 2026 Review Have I mentioned that Brigham is part of the reason I fell for kink? Especially this small town goodness with a kind of kink that’s just a part of life. I do also particularly like her depiction of kink. Her style of writing, the descriptions of fun times, all of it just works especially well for me. And these two; Chef and Bar Manager who start off irritating each other at every opportunity, who discover that there is the possibility for something different, something more fun, something real, are everything. Donovan is still off kilter by his previous relationship ending the way it did. The years spent trying to make something work that was meant to be. He’s made to be a Dom, to care of someone. Tyler craves being able to lay down the weight of the world he’s carrying, for someone to help pick it up for him.  Only he had no idea that was an ...

REVIEW: Drake by Jodie Harper (Foster Bros #3)

Image
DRAKE Foster Bros - Book Three by Jodie Harper Release Date: May 28, 2026 Review I love this powerful, emotional series of Foster brothers, the amazing fathers who took them in, and the men they find to spend their future with. Throw in some kink for a little added something something. I’ve been excited for Drake’s story. The brother who is gone for long stretches in secrecy, but you could always feel his longing and need. Trying to find that connection and someone to fill his desires. Then he has a chance to connect with Finn. Drake sees his needs, and helps him find an outlet, filling something inside him that’s been missing, and connects them both. It’s a beautiful story. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Drake When Drake was twelve, he found himself homeless and alone. Helped by a friendly neighbour, he meets Robin, a foster parent, and quickly becomes part of his family. As he grows, his need to protect grows with him, from the army to a more secretive career, and...

REVIEW: Holden by Kate Hawthorne (Ink and Ember #1)

Image
HOLDEN by Kate Hawthorne Ink and Ember - Book One Release Date: May 21, 2026 Review Love this couple.  They are adorable and sexy, and I love the pairing of grumpy tattooed Holden with the endlessly chatty Bryce.  Holden is reluctant to anything with Bryce, because he’s chatty, because he works with Bryce’s brother, because he’s not convinced about building connection. But Bryce’s assuredness and eagerness are hard to resist. It’s a fun relationship, with some light kink (especially by Kate standards!) but perfectly them. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Ink and Ember is open for business. Holden Walker likes peace and quiet, which sometimes makes working at a boisterous tattoo shop, Ink and Ember, hard for him. Fellow tattoo artist Merrick does not know when to stop talking and inserting himself into other people’s business, which is how Holden ends up escorting Merrick’s younger brother Bryce Shannon to lunch on his first day in LA. Attraction between the ...
