Miles comes to town, and things get a whole lot more interesting.  There is a definite pull between Miles and Dylan, but Miles is reluctant. Having moved here for a fresh start, he doesn’t want to cause waves and risk his job. But time spent together, and Dylan learning what he’s running from, brings these two together. And they are all kinds of lovely. And I really enjoy how they work together. I’m really enjoying this sports/shifter series. I love the mix of the two. Calder immediately knows who Adam is to him, but I love that he courts him, that it isn’t an insta-love relationship.   BEAST Legends Series by Denver Shaw Release Date: September 4, 2026 Review The Beast is a sentinel of the forest. Living alone with only the Monster Network as regular contact. Then a photographer trying to find himself rents a cabin in his territory, and he can’t seem to stay away. Despite being a city boy who photographs weddings and the like, he fits beautifully in nature. It’s a slow burn with a hefty length, but there’s some great dialogue, a little cryptid intrigue, and some great lore.   I especially loved Calder turning to Boone for advice!
