REVIEW: A Werewolf Mate for Christmas by Gigi Rivers (MM Monster Christmas Novella)

A WEREWOLF MATE FOR CHRISTMAS MM Monster Christmas - Novella by Gigi Rivers Release Date: November 1, 2024 Review Ugh, I really love this cozy (with some spice) MM monster holiday series.  The world is simple but interesting, and the family of kitchen witches are sweet and kind. I love hearing Wulfric’s thoughts when he’s ‘stuck’ in his wolf state while healing. How excited he is for his fated mate, but also the loss of his pack.  He immediately screams devoted and gentle (unless you mess with his mate!). Briar is equally lovely. He’s close with his large family, but is also longing for something of his own, so a fated mate is perfect for our nature-loving witch. There’s also a bit of an origin story for this series inside as well, which is adorable and funny. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis A wounded werewolf. A witch who nurses him back to health. What happens when the witch turns out to be the werewolf’s mate? Hearth witch Briar has a tendency to care fo...

REVIEW: Guarded by Lark Taylor (Hopeless Blessed #3)

Image
GUARDED Hopeless Blessed - Book Three by Lark Taylor Release Date: August 27, 2025 Review My heart - these two - just wrap them up in all the goodness. Jeremiah, poor tortured demon. The timing wasn’t great, tasting freedom for the first time and finding your mate. But he was such a good de-man, and patient. Loved everything about him. Noah, an Angel with some trauma, he couldn’t be expected to react any differently. How do you trust after you have spent centuries having your trust and self-worth destroyed?  But by Satan they build something beautiful, and the way they show up for each other will restore all faith in ‘humanity’. It’s a slow burn, but fated or not, these two choose each other, and it’s entirely swoony. I adore this world that Lark has built.  Not just the characters but the underlying worldview of religion, politics, and humanity.  They’re a brilliant writer who captures my attention entirely and makes me want to read the books over and over. Ps - t...

SKY’S GUIDE TO GETTING HIS MAN &  BANISHING GHOSTS The Dreamwalkera - Book One by Sammi Cee Release Date: August 19, 2025 Review I love Willowhope, such a good group of quirky characters, with so much love for each other. REVIEW: Me and My Christmas Familiar by Gigi Rivers (MM Monster Christmas Novella)

Image
ME AND MY CHRISTMAS FAMILIAR MM Monster Christmas - Novella by Gigi Rivers Release Date: October 18, 2024 Review My first by Gigi Rivers and won’t be my last.  I really enjoyed not just the story but also the whole world. A family of kitchen witches who run the family Bakery. They are loving, but also a little chaotic due to the number of them and now the addition of partners. It’s a really interesting world that feels both contemporary and old at the same time. And the paranormal aspect was diverse but also simple (I don’t mean that in a bad way - I like it that way, it means I can keep up).  Lachlan is a sweetheart. He feels a little unseen (not unloved), so when he finds a cat to care for, and who clearly cares for him, he’s happy to have something of his own. And then he discovers his beloved Kit is a shifter. It causes a bit of a crisis, and I’m not gonna lie, I cried a bit. But in the end, they find something really special and unique to them. And now I must read ...
