REVIEW: The Flirty Vet by Casey Cox (Vet Shop Boys Down Under #1)

THE FLIRTY VET Vet Shop Boys Down Under - Book One by Casey Cox Release Date: M arch 1, 2024 Review To say I was excited about an Australian spinoff of the Vet Shop Boys would be an understatement! I mean, not only do we get to continue with the hunky vets and adorable animals BUT now we get hunky Australian vets and adorable Australian animals. Okay, so maybe I have an Australian kink, sue me! Set in a small rural town with a vast array of animals, and an unusual attachment to karaoke, we know we are going to be in for a good time.  Wilby is loud, flirty, and loves to sing. His superpower is drawing everyone he meets in and making them smile. Even the tired and grumpy Col can’t seem to resist him. But really, it was a choice of sleeping through the racket Wilby was making or sleeping with Wilby… I just loved their interactions, and I really enjoyed how Wilby pulled Col out of his shell, while Col gave Wilby a steady presence, which was greatly needed while he carried the we...

REVIEW: The Reclusive Mountain Man by Casey Cox (Movin' to the Mountains #3)

THE RECLUSIVE MOUNTAIN MAN Movin’ to the Mountains - Book Three by Casey Cox Release Date: December 27, 2023 Review I love me a rugged softie! I want me a man who gives great hugs too! We finally get to really meet our oldest brother Marsh. It was clear in the first two books how much he loved his brothers and the men they fell in love with, so I’m glad he finally got his happy ending. And with none other than a gorgeous famous photographer. I’m a big softie myself for some mutual pining and friends to lovers, so these two are perfect. And I enjoy the worlds apart men finding an exciting and sweet way to bring them both together. And the awkward lead-up to their declarations was a lot of fun. I’m excited for Marsh to get to have a big and exciting life and love, and for Tal to find someone who wants to know and love him. I hope we’ll get to see some of them again because I’m not ready to be done with these rugged men and their lovers. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis ...

REVIEW: The Curious Mountain Man by Casey Cox (Movin' to the Mountains #2)

Image
THE CURIOUS MOUNTAIN MAN Movin’ to the Mountains - Book Two by Casey Cox Release Date: December 13, 2023 Review I’m really loving this novella series about 3 brothers, all drooly-worthy mountain men. They are quick reads, but all the romance & sexiness we love in a story. Now, I think Branum may be my favourite so far.  I’m pretty much putty for the sexy man who’s successful in business but still willing to try for something that makes him feel vulnerable. And he’s a sweetheart.  He tries to be all romantic like the books PJ reads, and it’s absolutely heart-melting to picture the large, built man being all sweet and wooing for this man. Picturing him in the lake naked also helps my assessment of him too and really makes me want to take up birdwatching. And PJ is a lovely human being who deserves all the love and care Branum will bestow on him.  They are a sweet couple to picture.  I’m intrigued to get to know that oldest brother. REVIEW: Clausing a Scene by Casey Cox (Christmas Falls #6)

Image
CLAUSING A SCENE Christmas Falls - Book Six by Casey Cox Release Date: December 5, 2023 Review This story is hotter than the fire in the fireplace. Seriously, Santa is blushing. Hig and his son’s best friend Brant find themselves alone, sharing his home during a snowstorm. It’s sweet as they awkwardly figure out how to interact with one another without Hig’s son there. And as they both try and ignore the naughty thoughts they are having. But there’s nothing like a snowstorm to help two blokes get together. And once they break the ice, these two certainly make up for lost time. They are both at a bit of a crossroads in their lives, wanting to explore the freedom to have some fun that they had both missed out on - being a young father and child actor meant their lives weren’t completely their own. It was a great commonality that tied them together despite the age gap. I also loved Hig’s relationship with his son. I loved how close they were and how supportive they were of each othe...

REVIEW: The Silent Mountain Man by Casey Cox (Movin' Mountains #1)

Image
THE SILENT MOUNTAIN MAN Movin’ to the Mountains - Book One by Casey Cox Release Date: November 29, 2023 Review I quite liked this novella about two men reconnecting after years of having disappeared from each other's lives. And my enjoyment had nothing to do with dreaming about finding my very own mountain man with flannel and gorgeous hair. I swear. It’s a novella so things move quickly, but you still get a look at when they first met and fell in love while keeping some mysteries for us to find out later in the story. They definitely had big reasons why they didn’t keep in touch. Harrick is a fantastic bloke, who had retreated into himself, and I loved how HIS Eddie brought him back to his old self. I’m always a sucker for pinning and second chances so this fit me perfectly.  I also love the idea of passing notes or letters, it’s so sweet. The things these two have been through…they deserve all the sweetness. I hadn’t read the blurbs (because it was Casey Cox and I was goin...
