A few folks are given the job of bringing escaped souls back to the underworld. Aster’s barely wrapped his head around the fact that he’s now a Soul Chaser before his first assignment comes through.  And it’s a doozy. Hudson thinks his problems are finally over until he learns ghosts are real.  These two make a great couple and the one good thing about this Horror terrorizing him…it brings Aster and Hudson together. You always get a glimpse at characters we’ll get to meet in future stories. Just be prepared to buy a dog by the end - you know - just in case it’s all true!   GIN & SIN Last Call - Book Two by Mia Monroe Release Date: January 15, 2025 Review The chemistry between these two was off the charts, and not just in bed.  One man who’s had enough of young twinks parading through his life and another who’s just setting out on his life dating men. They may seem unlikely together but boy do they fit perfectly. Truly, they are a joy. The casual arrangement, the exploration, the flirting - wonderful. Stewart is a delight. A professor, newly divorced and finally ready to explore his sexuality. He’s a bit nerdy but he’s also deliciously open. It’s no wonder Kit is drawn to him. And Kit, he’s such a great guy, searching for something to live, life, acceptance in all the wrong places.   THICKER THAN BLOOD by Mia Monroe Release Date: October 30, 2024 Review "I've got you exactly where I want you, curious mortal. I hope you like it here. Because it's your home now. I'm never letting you leave." It felt a bit different from Mia’s other work, but no less fun and definitely sexy. It was as seductive as the vamps in the story. A treaty has been struck between the humans and vampires, but when a rogue vampire puts that in jeopardy, Elias and Geordi team up to try and figure out who’s behind the chaos.   Geordi is a sweet scientist and rule follower. Elias definitely isn’t those things.  He’s a rich and powerful vampire who loves to enjoy himself and especially loves to help the people in his life have fun. They are an odd match, but right from the beginning, it’s clear there’s something between them. A fun story with a lot of interesting side characters we can only hope to see again.   BURNED Drake Security - Book Five by Mika Nix Release Date: October 16, 2024 Review Oh hell yes.  Lord’s story is perfect. The strong one. The stoic one. The family fixer.  The only way he was going to find love was through a little bit of chaos! I mean, mating with a dragon slayer! Priceless. But oh how perfect their story was. The tension, the hurt/comfort, the adventure. But if you come after the Drake family, you come after them all. And ‘all’ now includes Alrick.
