REVIEW: Bootylicious by Becca Seymour (Legends Series)

Image
BOOTYLICIOUS Legends Series by Becca Seymour Release Date: July 31, 2026 Review I’ve been obsessed with reading this series since my first look at the covers! I mean, they are amazing, and I’m super excited by the Legends theme. Bootlicious is a bigfoot/human pairing. Boone is in charge of a monster network, carrying the weight of that responsibility on his shoulders. Meaning he rarely has fun. But his one indulgence is a slightly accident-prone researcher, Elias. He follows him around, keeps his equipment safe, and rescues him when necessary (more often than you’d think!). There’s not just the funny and sweet encounters between these two, but there’s also a larger world of cryptids and monsters, their worldview, and a bit of a creepy mystery. I can’t wait to follow the world and its other couples. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Bigfoot Boone has one job: protect the forest, manage the Monster Network, and absolutely not get emotionally attached to humans. He’s al...

REVIEW: Coffee Shop Monster AU by KC Carmine (Because Canon Sucks Series)

COFFEE SHOP MONSTER AU Because Canon Sucks - Series by KC Carmine Release Date: July 22, 2026 Review Small town goodness…check.  Sweet romance…check.  Gorgeous bigfoot…double check! Love Bigfoot as a character.  Rowan is a great guy, despite being grumpy and not overly enthusiastic about living in the small town for the summer. He’s also not thrilled with his job, which lends to his grumpiness. His grumpiness is no match for Milo’s warmth and brightness. He runs himself ragged, but always manages to find cheer.  Which is why some fun between these two for the summer seems like a perfect plan.  But best laid plans and all. It’s a warm story, and has some wonderful side characters to round it out. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Rowan: Moving to a tiny town for the summer because of my joyless job was not ideal for a city bigfoot like me. I’d be much more pissed if Wendigo Hills wasn’t surprisingly welcoming and the barista in the coffee shop w...

REVIEW: Ctrl+Alt+Orc by MA Wardell (Love at Labyrinth Solutions #2)

Image
CTRL+ALT+ORC Love at Labyrinth Solutions - Book Two by MA Wardell Release Date: July 21, 2026 Review Delightful. The whole world is wonderful and the characters are delightful, just as i expected from MA. Greg, our IT guy, is cheerfully adorable. Always making sure to be ready to solve Sean's computer problems. I mean, above and beyond! *wink wink* Sean is slightly grumpy, but it’s no match for Greg’s cheer, care, and candies. Their courtship is cute and chaotic and I loved the whole thing so much. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Your computer has stopped responding. An orc will now reboot your heart. Greg IT is supposed to be about systems, servers, and keeping chaos at bay. But then Sean Rivers walked in—human, grumpy, and a disaster with technology. Suddenly, patching servers comes with heated glances, playful banter, and some very hands-on troubleshooting. He’s got my world of logic and code crashing spectacularly… and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Sean I di...

Image
VAREK Monsters & Mates - Book Three by Becca Seymour Release Date: June 19, 2026 Review Action packed! The world and its problems are ready to implode, and it’s a battle to see which side will win. The Queen is ruthless and will do anything to achieve the power she’s after. Including torture and dungeons. Her reign needs to end! And Varek and Pax have had a complicated 10-year relationship. Enemies but fated mates, yup, complicated. But when Pax is captured, and Varek rescues him, they can no longer avoid each other, and Pax is struggling to continue to hate Varek. Working together to figure out what is going on and how to save everyone, their bond strengthens, and they become a romantic powerhouse out to save the world. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Falling for the monster who ruined your life? Yeah. That wasn’t on my Terrafeara survival bingo card. I’ve survived this world by making myself untouchable—sharp edges, sharper instincts, and zero room for mistakes...

REVIEW: Taste by EM Lindsey & Cora Rose (Feed & Feast #2)

Image
TASTE Feed and Feast - Book Two by EM Lindsey Release Date: June 12, 2026 Review Taste is even better than the first. Cielo’s story will tug at your heart. The sweet guy has been treated terribly by his own government. Forced into servitude, then beaten for following orders. And his punishment continues. But under Dante’s care you can be sure he will thrive, find a found family, and experience comfort and joy. But it will take time, and Dante must be patient. Which is difficult with the pull he feels to Cielo. I love the emotion to this one, not just the world EM and Cora have created.  Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis When portals from another world split open the sky, humanity braces for war… only to discover the monsters from Erethar aren’t here to conquer. They need something from humans. Something oddly specific in order to survive. And I’ve spent the last few years working at my little shop and doing my part to help humanity by donating what the monsters cr...
