REVIEW: Fighting Temptation by AE Madsen (Fighting for Love #5)

FIGHTING TEMPTATION Fighting for Love - Book Five by AE Madsen Release Date: January 15, 2024 Review Step siblings can often be oil and water, and that’s the case for Cypress and Theo. It started out rocky and it never really got better. Theo seems like a jerk but it’s clear he’s just keeping people at a distance. When he moves home after college, they are finally forced to really get to know one another. It means Theo has some things to work through and come to terms with.  I like the time they take to get together, and how protective Theo is of Cyrpess.  They work well as a couple and overall a great addition to the Fighting for Love universe. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis If he doesn't shut his mouth, I might just do it for him. The only problem is I don’t know whether to kiss him or punch him. Theodore College can't last forever, but it was nice getting a taste of freedom. I'm back home again, living in my childhood room, and having to put up with the...

REVIEW: Reimagine by AE Madsen (Blue Mountain University #4)

Image
REIMAGINE Blue Mountain University - Book Four by AE Madsen Release Date: September 15, 2023 Review Reimagine is a very sweet and cuddly story with some wonderful ace and non-binary rep. I love books that represent a variety of sexualities. Both MCs are lovely and kind. Reconnecting after years since their families were friends. So it makes sense for Elliot to rent a room from Travis. Except for their crush. “Should I really be moving in with Travis when I’m into him? It’s a recipe for disaster. Having a crush on a straight guy.” Travis has an easy acceptance of Elliot, and it’s swoony how much he wants Elliot to be themselves. It’s not surprising that it takes some time for Elliot to trust the truth of Travis’ words and actions.  Other folks haven’t always been kind or understanding. Thankfully Travis never gives up. This is a low-angst story that was steady and true and full of cuddles. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Travis I'm on the verge of turning thirty ...

But Nicky has a date, and it seems like the timing is all wrong. But once these two get on the same page they are all kinds of sweet and sexy.  Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Under the Mistletoe Nicky I’ve had a crush on Flynn for years; I even followed him to college. But when we finally kiss instead of sparks flying, it proves he doesn’t think of me that way. Maybe it’s time I accept it and move on. Flynn Kissing under mistletoe is just a silly holiday tradition. REVIEW: Foul Play by AE Madsen (Blue Mountain University #3)

FOUL PLAY Blue Mountain University - Book Three by AE Madsen Release Date: September 15, 2022 Review This is the third book in the Blue Mountain University series, but the first that I’ve read, so I can say that there is no problem reading it without having read the others. Though previous characters make appearances you never really feel like you’re missing something, but I am intrigued enough to want to go back a read them. Hayden and Asher’s story was sweet and tender. These two first met at a soccer tournament which leads to one night of fun. Later, when they find themselves connecting over social media, they fall into a comfortable back and forth that builds into a friendship.  A friendship that simmers with feelings of more. And the more time they find themselves wishing the other wasn’t hours away at another school, the more they realize they might have found themselves the one. This is a slow burn that involves a lot of chatting, connecting, and supporting one another along...
