And trust me, the sexual tension between Vaughn and Smoke is delicious.  There is plenty of action - a la Motorcycle Gang - but the soul-deep need these two had for each other made it hella romantic. Seriously the forbidden romance vibes were off the charts!! They are both really interesting men, with complex pasts, some of Smoke’s comes back to cause some trouble. And I really liked Vaughn’s father. I highly recommend the audiobook Tristan James and Iggy Toma as narrators make it all the more delicious. The tension between these two is exquisite. It may have been one night but it left a lasting impression on both Jet and Soren. Now it’s time to see if they can figure out what comes next. While fake dating of course. It’s a wildly entertaining story and captures so many great moments, lots of snark, and definitely some epic chemistry. But what lasts is how perfect they are together and how beautifully they support each other. A great addition to the series with plenty of great moments with some of our other favourites. This found family's trust in each other is pretty wonderful, and they all bring something to the table, both in their relationships as well as in their skills for the heist. It’s an action-packed story as they finish the job and set themselves up for a pretty awesome future. It’s a great duology, and if you like audiobooks…Iggy Toma is the narrator, so it makes it even more fun. LOL But damn I wanted this crew to succeed. And even more, I want Roman and Wyatt to find their happy ever after. I also want Wyatt to be free of having to worry about providing for his sister. They deserve a little bit of easy in their lives. Roman has amassed a great crew of misfits who are lots of fun and have such a great bond. But at the centre is a rocky history between Roman and Wyatt, and their second chance at a future together. Because it’s clear, no matter what went down before, they are meant to be. Especially those Ops boys. Harley is a pop star suffering under the confines of fame and music exes wanting to control him. Afraid of losing all he works for, he hides in his home and works, that’s all. When a stalker becomes a problem, Brix is brought in to protect him. Brix is a gem. He’s not thrilled to be babysitting a pop star but he’s unable to fight his caring nature. He goes out of his way to make Harley feel safe, makes sure he takes breaks and enjoys himself. It’s really quite lovely how he cares for him. The drama of the stalker does a great job of highlighting both their personalities and really bringing them together. It had a little of everything - action, romance, drama, fame...
