CANDY HEARTS V2 Anthology Release Date: February 4, 2025 Review In time for Valentine’s, Lee Blair and so many other amazing authors give us sweet sweet love thanks to accidental wrong numbers. I’ve only read a few to start, but you can be sure I will be devouring them all curled up on my couch with some wine and cinnamon hearts. Anna Sparrows - Silver (Fox) Linings BA Tortuga - Drunk Dialing Becca Seymour - Falling for 42 Super cute story between a tattoo artist and a basketball player on his brothers team.  I love that Kobe’s brother set them up and was super supportive of Malik’s crush on his brother. A terrific opposites attract story.  Beck Grey - Wrong Place, Right Time A touching story set in 1987 full of hope and fresh starts. Danny and Mike may have met by accident, but it was definitely meant to be. Both men share commonalities, and the biggest one is the need to start fresh somewhere new.  They have a great connection and I love their future for them and...

THE KISS Say Their Names Charity Anthology by Courtney W. Dixon Release Date: December 1, 2024 Review The Kiss by Courtney W. Dixon The day he finds out he is HIV+ thanks to his cheating ex is not the day to find someone new. The kiss the he and Dallas shared though has stayed with them both. Years later it still stars in their daydreams. It’s a really good story about love and living after life-altering news. And some fate make sure they get a chance at true happiness. I often struggle reading stories about HIV/AIDS because I was actively involved in the AIDS pandemic in the 80s and 90s and I can be dragged under by history and deaths, but I enjoy reading modern stories, where science and medicine means people can live long and beautiful lives. This story reminds me to be hopeful and happy. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Say Their Names is an anthology of short stories about living and loving with HIV/AIDS by authors of gay romance. Proceeds from the sale of this ...

REVIEW: Captive Desires by Courtney W. Dixon (After Dark Anthology)

Image
CAPTIVE DESIRES After Dark Anthology by Courtney W. Dixon Release Date: August 6, 2024 Review Captive Desires is one entry in the After Dark Anthology, and it’s a damn good one. It’s got everything you could want from a short story. Though it covers a short period, it feels like you’ve known these characters for a while. And it absolutely draws you in emotionally.  It definitely blurs the lines of morals and who a bad guy is, but you’ll be rooting for Maddox and Liam.  Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis The best things happen… After Dark Enter a realm of passion and danger, where desire thrives in the shadows. In After Dark, meet heroes who play by their own rules, from mafia enforcers and rebellious bad boys to motorcycle club kings, dominant lovers, ruthless hitmen, and cunning assassins. Succumb to the magnetic pull of anti-heroes who walk the fine line between darkness and desire. Witness their fiery chemistry as they navigate a world where love is as dang...
