DIRTY STEAL Dirty Players - Book Two by KD Casey & Lauren Blakely Release Date: September 28, 2022 Audio Release Date: September 28, 2022 Narrators: Evan Parker & JF Harding Review An enjoyable baseball romance between players.  I love stories that start with hooking up and then discovering that your lives are about to intersect. These two are hot, and they have a steamy journey to get to their happy ending. I can’t imagine being a sports player, the competition, knowing you can get traded, and having a short age span for it. It makes player romances fun and tension-filled. If you like audiobooks, Evan Parker & JF Harding are wonderful, and pair well with KD & Lauren’s writing. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis One bed, two players, and another chance in this steamy standalone sports romance… After how this season has gone so far — don’t ask — the last thing I need is a distraction. Like, say, my spring training one-night stand showing up in my dug...

AUDIO REVIEW: One Time Only by L. Blakely

ONE TIME ONLY by L. Blakely Release Date: November 18, 2020 Audio Release Date: November 16, 2020 Narrators: Jacob Morgan & Teddy Hamilton Review L. Blakely not only writes such full and vibrant stories, but they also choose fantastic narrators. I also love listening to her audiobooks. Teddy Hamilton and Jacob Morgan deliver a wonderful performance as Jackson and Stone. Love a bodyguard romance.  I mean, you’re sexy, fit and are going to protect me!?! Yes please. These two hit it off from the word go. Joking and chatting with ease. They developed a great friendship, which is one of my favourite aspects of a romance.  And makes their inevitable turn to lust and romance believable. It’s a fun story, though, not without touching moments, and the meaningful impact of the past. Rockstar & Bodyguard have met their match in each other. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis A fiery forbidden standalone MM romance from #1 New York Times Bestselling author Lauren B...

Here Comes My Man reunites our lovesick idiots, in the most epic way possible. From lovers to enemies to fake boyfriends, our sexy duo has been a wild and seductive ride. Watching them fall in love all over again was exactly the story I needed. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis A red-hot, enemies-to-lovers, fake boyfriend, second chance romance, and the conclusion to the Hopelessly Bromantic Duet! Let me just say this -- fake dating the cocky movie star was not my idea. Especially since he’s my former roomie and, gulp, my secret ex. But my agent tells me I have no choice since I’m ridiculously overdue with turning...

AUDIO REVIEW: Hopelessly Bromantic by Lauren Blakely (Hoplessly Bromanctic Duet #1)

Image
HOPELESSLY BROMANTIC Hopelessly Bromantic Duet - Book One by Lauren Blakely Release Date: May 31, 2022 Audiobook Release Date: May 31, 2022 Review Gah, cliffhangers!! The worst torture to ever torture a reader!! TJ and Jude are the swooniest, funniest, most lovely guys ever. The brief meeting in London some years ago was packed with pinning and flirting, but before they get to figure themselves out, they are pulled apart by their careers.  Their memories remain fond, and their pact to meet again when they’ve each made it remains present in their minds. So when they get the chance they jump at it. There are nerves, but the deep attraction and simple ease at which they connect is as strong as ever. Leaving them wondering if this is it. If they’ve found the ‘one’. Until miscommunication and hurt feelings tear them apart. No joke, TJ and Jude and both amazing, and you’ll want to ring both their necks for their destruction. I loved the reverse enemies-to-lovers trope.  Looki...

REVIEW: The Best Men by Sarina Bowen & Lauren Blakely

Image
The Best Men by Sarina Bowen & Lauren Blakely Release Date: January 18, 2022 Review This was pure fun and sex.  A larger than life opposites attract story of a stuffy wall street type (on the outside), single dad, and a rich ex-footballer (soccer), always out for a good time. They get a dramatic start when Mark goes on a drunken rant in a group thread about Asher and his perfect abs and his smugness, not to mention the anticipated demise of his sister's wedding to Asher’s BFF Filipe. When these two get roped into heading to Miami early to coordinate the wedding plans, their poking and button pushing leads them to a Wedding fling. One problem..the more time they spend together, and get to know each other, the more they may not be satisfied with 4 days. They are a lot of fun and super interesting guys.  I loved how straight-laced Mark is nothing of the sort in bed, and confident, famous Asher isn’t confident he’s worth loving in a forever kind of way. Also, bonus poin...
