REVIEW: Avalanche by Jillian D Wray (Ricochet Ridge #3)

AVALANCHE Ricochet Ridge - Book Three by Jillian D Wray Release Date: April 30, 2026 Review Hanlon and Stone had a complicated relationship. Step brothers, with parents determined to have them become a family, an age gap, and Hanlon’s disability meant that their parental attention was skewed. They both loved each other as people, but Stone needed to go, to find his own path, his own identity. He’s carved out a life on the Mountain preventing avalanches. The avalanche he couldn’t see coming was Hanlon joining his team. Their journey wasn’t easy or calm, but the chemistry was clear, and they discovered something that was worth fighting for. One more to go, which, truthfully, I’m a little cautious about because Logan displayed some problematic behaviour, but I’m always ready for a redemption story. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis A LOVE THAT COULD BURY US BOTH. Four years of silence, two thousand miles, and a love their parents will never forgive. STONE It wasn’t Hanlon...

REVIEW: Fall Line by Jillian D Wray (Ricochet Ridge #2)

FALL LINE Ricochet Ridge - Book Two by Jillian D Wray Release Date: March 26, 2026 Review A tension-filled story! Forbidden romance between Coach and athlete, along with a good dose of tension from the people in Vox’s life. Connor returns to the boarding scene after completely disappearing years earlier, to coach Vox. Vox is a young man who’s been through it over the years. But he’s had his manager/sponsor to guide and help him. As Connor and Vox build bridges and fall to their attraction, they each grow within themselves, but part of that journey is also learning the truth, or for Connor, learning to accept the truth. It’s a really good story, and I love how it ended.  I don’t love brats, especially the slightly toxic ones, but Vox grew a lot over the story. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis THE HIGHER THE RISK—THE SWEETER THE REWARD In a world where the rules are iron-clad, the only thing more dangerous than the mountain is falling for the man who abandoned it. ...

REVIEW: Meltdown by Jillian D Wray (Ricochet Ridge #1)

MELTDOWN Ricochet Ridge - Book One by Jillian D Wray Release Date: February 24, 2026 Review My first by Jillian, and it won’t be the last. These two are slightly co-dependent best friends. Relying on each other emotionally in all things, but Damon is hiding his sexuality, and Liam is in many ways hiding from his own emotions. Two weeks at a sky lodge is the perfect time for secrets to come out and some hard truths to be faced. I enjoyed the characters and the writing. There was some wonderful tension and a lot of love, which made their story hard-earned, while also feeling like the easiest thing there is. Definitely looking forward to the next in this series. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis WE WERE INEVITABLE. In the thin air of Ricochet Ridge, the truth isn't just a revelation—it’s an epic meltdown thirteen years in the making. LIAM I’m at my breaking point. After losing my mom and being deceived by my dad, I’m heading to Ricochet Ridge for my annual ski trip feeli...
