AUDIO REVIEW: Faker by Kiki Clark (Forever Family #3)

FAKER Forever Family - Book Three by Kiki Clark Release Date: September 26, 2023 Audio Release Date: July 26, 2024 Review Love this novella. Samuel is downright tortured by his desire for his best friend and roommate. And oh man, if he thought it was bad before Will offered to be his fake boyfriend with fake dates and practice touching… Will is adorable in the way he throws himself into the task. Even when Samuel seems unsure of the whole idea. They both may be a little oblivious, but they are super cute and get a lovely romantic happy ending, so really we all win. And if you’re a fan of audiobooks, which is out now, Liam DiCosimo always delivers a wonderful experience. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Falling for your straight best friend while he pretends to be your boyfriend is something not even Samuel would be foolish enough to do. And yet...

All Samuel wanted was to not show up to his ex's wedding alone, but his friend Will has a better idea: go as fake boyfri...

AUDIO REVIEW: Easy by Kiki Clark (Forever Family Trilogy #2)

EASY Forever Family Trilogy - Book Two by Kiki Clark Release Date: February 21, 2023 Audio Release Date: July 30, 2024 Review The Audiobook version gives us all the goodness from my original read but the added benefit of having narrator Liam DiCosimo, who is top-notch and with a gorgeous voice, deliver it to me. Original Review: I loved this quick sexy and romantic read. Nothing better than two people finding the absolute perfect person for them. Especially when they bring some special to the relationship. Simon was unapologetically himself, and I loved it. He enjoyed sex, enthusiastically, but it was also a means to an end. It quieted his mind. Albeit temporarily. Jackson has had a lacklustre love life. He’s dated, but none of those women were able to hold his attention. Then Simon drops into his life. He may have never been with a man, but being in his 40s he’s secure enough to know what he wants and accept that. And he wants to be everything to Simon. This was as delicious as ...

AUDIO REVIEW: Favor by Kiki Clark (Forever Family Trilogy #1)

FAVOR Forever Family Trilogy - Book One by Kiki Clark Release Date: July 8, 2021 Audio Release Date: July 19, 2024 Review I adored this when I read it, and it’s just as good in audiobook. It’s narrated by Liam DiCosimo, who is fantastic and does a great job with these characters. It’s a quick read about Jeremy and Declan and a whole lot of miscommunication. Declan is a shy contractor who has a crush on Jeremy, his best friend's younger brother. A recent encounter gone awry leads to Declan and his best friend coming up with a scheme so that Declan can get a re-do with the younger man.  I adore Declan - he’s a quiet and thoughtful man. And good with his hands! I would be willing to fight Jeremy for him. And Jeremy, though seemingly aloof, is quite lovely when he’s finally on the same page. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Never fall for straight guys--especially when they're friends with your brother. Jeremy knows that. Honest! All he wanted was a little work done ...

REVIEW: Whit by Cora Rose (Unexpected #1)

WHIT by Cora Rose  Release Date: April 21, 2022 Review "It's you, Whit. Don't know why you can't get that through your super-smart brain. I'm obsessed with you." These two were a delight to read/listen to. I love a straight man who eagerly embraces his interest in a man.  Seriously, Caleb is a really hilarious and pretty adorable golden retriever. A Whit is a mysterious and quiet man who has his secrets and does his best to keep his distance from Caleb. But really, I don’t think anyone could resist Caleb.  There are serious undertones to the story and some heartbreak, but it’s beautiful too. The way Caleb wins over Whit’s trust, the patience he shows him, and the care he takes to give him everything he’s been missing is wonderful.  Also, Caleb’s family is completely amazing, the way they take to Whit is something special, even if the brothers are a little wild with no sense of boundaries. "This is my life now. I should have never talked to you at that c...
