AUDIO REVIEW: Hat Trick by Eden Finley (Fake Boyfriend #5)

Image
HAT TRICK Fake Boyfriend - Book Five by Eden Finley Release Date: November 5, 2019 Audio Release Date: March 31, 2020 Review A pair with a past, and a bumpy reunion. The tension between these two is exquisite. It may have been one night but it left a lasting impression on both Jet and Soren. Now it’s time to see if they can figure out what comes next. While fake dating of course. It’s a wildly entertaining story and captures so many great moments, lots of snark, and definitely some epic chemistry. But what lasts is how perfect they are together and how beautifully they support each other. A great addition to the series with plenty of great moments with some of our other favourites. It’s also great as an audiobook. Narrator by the dynamic duo - Iggy Toma & Alexander Cendese.  Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Soren: You know what’s not fun? Going on a Fiji vacation with four other couples. Especially when recently single. What’s even worse is when a past hook-u...

REVIEW: Out of My Mind by AJ Truman (Browerton University #3)

OUT OF MY MIND Browerton University - Book Three by AJ Truman Release Date: September 19, 2016 Review Families and their expectations can be tough. But especially so when those expectations are tied to one's sexuality.  And being young and still figuring yourself out, who you want to be, it’s a lot. Mac and Gideon both have their one paths to travel and it’s not always smooth as they converge but it’s worth it in the end. They are young, so there is some fun, and definitely some sexiness, there’s also a lot of wonderful self-discovery. I absolutely enjoyed this story, and would definitely recommend the audiobook which is narrated by the great Alexander Cendese. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis A no-strings-attached hookup with his "straight" roommate? Mac hit the college sex jackpot. After being dumped and evicted by his boyfriend, Mac needed a place to live ASAP. But room with Gideon? The guy who held off announcing he was straight until after Mac went in ...

AUDIO REVIEW: Rare by Briar Prescott

RARE by Briar Prescott Release Date: June 16, 2020 Audio Release Date: April 20, 2021 Narrated by Iggy Toma & Alexander Cendese Review We first meet Alex. And let me tell you, I wanted to gag him! He’s an obnoxious little s**t. Even if you could see why he was the way he was I was completely exasperated by him. Which is a testament to the writing, and of course the audio narration that created such a vivid character. Also knowing that the author would make me fall for him along the way helped. He’s a typical rich kid causing havoc everywhere he goes. Attitude for days. Couldn’t help but agree that the best place for him would be the last place he would want to be! Noah is his opposite. Quiet, sweet, and completely selfless. It’s a match made in heaven really. Noah has lived a sheltered life, so you can see his attraction to the wild and impulsive man. And he’s exactly what Alex needs. Someone to show him care and attention. This is an epic love story that spans many years, al...

REVIEW: Whit by Cora Rose (Unexpected #1)

Image
WHIT by Cora Rose  Release Date: April 21, 2022 Review "It's you, Whit. Don't know why you can't get that through your super-smart brain. I'm obsessed with you." These two were a delight to read/listen to. I love a straight man who eagerly embraces his interest in a man.  Seriously, Caleb is a really hilarious and pretty adorable golden retriever. A Whit is a mysterious and quiet man who has his secrets and does his best to keep his distance from Caleb. But really, I don’t think anyone could resist Caleb.  There are serious undertones to the story and some heartbreak, but it’s beautiful too. The way Caleb wins over Whit’s trust, the patience he shows him, and the care he takes to give him everything he’s been missing is wonderful.  Also, Caleb’s family is completely amazing, the way they take to Whit is something special, even if the brothers are a little wild with no sense of boundaries. "This is my life now. I should have never talked to you at that c...

REVIEW: Puck Drills & Quick Thrills by Eden Finley and Saxon James (CU Hockey #5)

Image
PUCK DRILLS & QUICK THRILLS CU Hockey - Book Five by Eden Finley & Saxon James Release Date: October 6, 2021 Audio Release Date: April 26, 2022 Review These two kind of collide into each other's life and they’re not best friends. LOL But they are hot for one another. Westly is floundering. He gave up his NHL career to take care of his five siblings, which isn’t an easy task on a good day, especially not in the midst of their grief at losing their parents. The poor sweet man went from the top of his career to barely being able to go a day without setting off the kitchen fire alarm. It’s adorable when he goes to face off with the crotchety math professor in defence of his brother. Jasper is guarded and unforgiving. And he HATES hockey players. That is until Westley manages to crack his armour, and they both share their truths. Together they are hot and sweet and fun. Their sexual chemistry is crazy good. But what was truly special was how they helped each other through thei...
