It’s a soft love, the kind that comes with more mature characters who are grounded in life. It feels natural and comfortable. And the interactions and relationships of the children add a special and funny element to the story. I also really loved the ‘meet cute’. It was creative and delightful. The audiobook is narrated by Tim Paige and Lance West, who are both great talents and do a wonderful job with this story. The story, the narration, the shebang! The series follows Orca shifter brothers and the bounty hunter organization that they run. They are strong, fun, amazing personalities who are caring and thoughtful, but also live in a slightly ethical grey area.   Nero is fantastic.  Sexy, talented, and slightly adrift. Until he’s asked to protect Felix. Felix, who may need protecting, but he is not a damsel in distress. And I love how he isn’t afraid to insert himself into Nero’s life. He’s a talented hacker, knows his skills and his worth, and wants only the best for Nero. Narrator Declan Winters is a dream, and is absolutely perfect for this story.
