It’s a sweet and snowy novella set in a picturesque small town full of townsfolk who love snow and Christmas, especially the first snow. Except for one person. Grey. The grumpy loner wants nothing to do with the snow and the cheer. And newcomer Simon is definitely cheery. But the snow has other ideas and Simon and Grey find themselves waiting out a storm together in Simon’s cozy cabin. It’s a great first novella. I love a grump and of course, I’m a sucker for all things holiday. Like most novellas, you have to accept some things are missing or skimmed over, but it’s full of cuteness, holiday magic, and a grump who’s really just a teddy bear.
