  CASUAL FELONIES Wildlings - Book One by Kelly Fox Release Date: August 20, 2025 Review I am obsessed with the idea of a second generation of characters from a beloved series. I haven’t read the whole original series, but that didn’t detract for one second. I’m utterly smitten with Kelly’s writing style, which feels serious, deep, over the top and a little wild all at the same time. It’s contemporary with a hint of it being futuristic, with some of the impressive tech they have. The pairing is fantastic. The incredibly smart but slightly oblivious son of vigilante parents and the sexy barber with a vigilante side gig. The path to getting together is fraught with landmines and some hilarious antics, but once they figure it out (mostly figuring out how to navigate a couple of distiburlingly scare parents), they make a pretty solid and formidable team.   SWORN ENEMY Wild Heart Ranch - Book One by Kelly Fox Release Date: August 24, 2022 Audio Release Date: June 26, 2023 Review Word of warning…do not listen to the audiobook in public unless you like for random strangers to see you cry.  There is a train full of people who probably thought I was going through some things! And truthfully, I was. This story! Charlie’s and Justin’s stories will break you. Not just their mutual story, but their individual ones too. Gah, seriously, so many emotions as you uncover their past. But also the present. Charlie’s journey will hurt your heart but also, he’s turned into such an amazing man. Justin has had a rough go at life, and he’s made a mess of many things, but his road to redemption will make you a believer in second chances. Kelly really captures the ups and downs, the pain, hope and love that make up their story. It’s a gorgeous tale, with a heart-pumping crime-fighting underlying storyline.   GOODNIGHT Rebel Sky Ranch - Book One by Kelly Fox Release Date: June 30, 2021 Audiobook Release Date: August 2, 2022 Review I might just wade into a den of rattlesnakes if it means Trip will come to my rescue!! What a lovely man.  He’s so kind and gentle. And he’s the perfect neighbour.  I would be secretly planning our wedding to if he showed me any ounce of attention. This story is charming and lovely, with a bit of external drama to keep things exciting. Sam is a great character. Lively and sparkly, the perfect offset to our charming cowboy. And the sexual awakening that Sam delivers Trip is pretty sweet.  This found family series is a spin-off, so I’m off to catch up on the other stories and family members. PS. Listen to the audiobook. Blake Lockheart was fantastic as the narrator.  It’s my first by them, but I’m certainly hopeful I’ll come across him again.   FROST IMPRESSIONS Christmas Falls Season 2 by Kelly Fox Release Date: December 6, 2024 Review What a delight.  I love a story where grumps are really softies and the sunshiny is also dark.  Gray and Sunny met at their worst. And to top it off Gray has to take Sunny in when his cabin roof collapses.  It doesn’t take long for them to start peeling the layers back and see beneath that exterior. And it was wonderful. I especially enjoyed the way the community saw Gray, and how much they loved their grump. It was really special. These are the kind of characters that will stick with me for a long while. This story also had a lot of great lines!
