GUARDIAN ANGEL Angel Security - Book Two by Evie McGlynn Release Date: February 26, 2026 Review Two wonderful men find a new lease on life and love, getting a chance to finally find someone who truly cares for them. With a little suspense thrown in! Tony is the eldest brother and caretaker of all those in his life.  What he truly wants is a family of his own. But the users seem find their way into his life instead. Greg is rebuilding his life after an abusive ex that stole his friends and family from him. Keeping people at arms length is safer. But Tony makes him feel safe and cared for, so no matter how hard he tries to keep it casual…there was no chance. REVIEW: Sunrise by Evie McGlynn (Down the Shore #3)

SUNRISE Down the Shore - Book Three by Evie McGlynn Release Date: May 29, 2024 Review These stories get better and better. Evie has an interesting style that mixes sweet and tender, with emotional upheaval, truly crappy people, and some sort of high-octane drama (ie. kidnapping, murder, etc). There is also an incredible found family at the centre of it all, not only do they care deeply, but they also have a whole host of skills and resources. Miguel and Zach are truly good people who care deeply and have a strong sense of duty. They have both sacrificed for their family and are learning to live for themselves. That’s easier with someone who sees you and thinks you are pretty amazing as you are. There’s definitely drama along the way, though not between Zach and Miguel.  Miguel’s family life is rocky, particularly due to his love of makeup, and Zach not only has crappy parents but also works for a horrible boss. Their loved ones aren’t immune to having terrible people in thei...

REVIEW: Starlight by Evie McGlynn (Down the Shore #2)

STARLIGHT Down the Shore - Book Two by Evie McGlynn Release Date: September 13, 2023 Review Book 2 in Evie’s Down the Shore series is another fantastic book. It has so much depth and a huge array of emotions that will suck you in.  Starlight is Liam and Marco’s story, about how they found the courage to love and trust again. Working the very real fear of risking your heart after so much tragedy. There are frustrating moments where you want to shake so sense into them, sweet romance (even if they don’t always realize it), and so many moments you wrap them both up in a hug. Coupled with them going on clandestine high-stakes rescue missions, you have a book you don’t want to put down.  There is a lot of trigger-type content - but it is all dealt with with kindness and care and in the end, leaves you hopeful.  Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Liam I joined Doctors Without Borders to help save lives and almost lost my own. The only reason I’m alive is becaus...

REVIEW: Moonlight by Evie McGlynn (Down the Shore #1)

MOONLIGHT Down the Shore - Book One by Evie McGlynn Release Date: December 29, 2022 Review What a fantastic debut novel by Evie McGlynn. I didn’t want to put this one down, I only did because…life….but in the end, I stayed up till 1:30 in the morning to finish it! It was soft and beautiful and redemptive, full of love and kindness, but it also had external drama and suspense. It was the perfect combination and it kept me engaged the whole way through. It helps that both the MCs where great people who you wanted to see get their second chances and find success. And most of all you wanted them to get their safe place with each other. A place where they find love and happiness in all parts of their lives. You also stuck around to see the horrible people get the comeuppance. And the friends…there were so many amazing friends, family, and associates. I want all their stories and happy ever afters, and if we get to catch glimpses of Sean and Jeremy along the way…oh well! Seriously, so ...
