REVIEW: Ferocious by Leslie McAdam (IOU #6)

FEROCIOUS IOU - Book Six by Leslie McAdam Release Date: April 13, 2025 Review Such a fun and wild ride.  I love the feral gremlin-not twink / buttoned-up lawyer-not a daddy, opposites attract vibes.  It was such an unexpected mix that led both of them to finding the safety and acceptance to be their true selves. It had some twists and turns that kept things interesting, but through it all it was really about figuring themselves out, reexamining themselves, and finding their family. I also loved the kink aspect - I love primal play - but I especially love two people finding their perfect match. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis When a scrawny, pink-haired ragamuffin tries to rob me at knifepoint, I respond the way any sensible person would and invite him to dinner—where he proceeds to threaten my entire ten-year plan simply by being his effervescent self. Much to my annoyance. There’s no room in my life for a gorgeous criminal named Rowan. I need to check off ...

REVIEW: TMI by JE Birk, Rachel Ember, and Leslie McAdam (ILYBSM #2)

TMI ILYBSM - Book Two by JE Birk, Rachel Ember & Leslie McAdam Release Date: December 3, 2023 Review My favourite writing throuple brings us another trio this holiday season. It’s got all the best parts of a Christmas story - small-town inter-city holiday competition, a curmudgeonly elderly newspaperman, and townsfolk who are all up in your business. But these men aren’t going to sleep with visions of sugar plums dancing - Zeke, Doug, and Max are all safely on Santa’s naughty list with the fantasies they’re imagining. Get ready for some TMI! This story brings together tall and built childhood best friends Zeke and Doug. They work together as a fireman, but Doug has also been elected mayor. And he’s in the hot seat thanks to an editorial that wasn’t too kind of the truly sweet and precious Doug. Zeke is his protector and cheerleader. He may grunt a lot, but believe me he is a marshmallow of a man. Max finds his way into the middle of these two hulking men when comes to town to...

REVIEW: Apex by Victoria Denault (Faster #3)

Image
APEX Faster - Book Three by Victoria Denault Release Date: November 17, 2023 Review I’ve really loved this entire multi-author series. They’ve all been top-notch, I wish there were more than just three! But if I had to choose, on the threat of my Kindle being taken away, I would have to say Axel and Gabe are my favs (by a smidge of course, cuz they really were all wonderful). Gabe is such an interesting guy. He’s a little wild and not great at holding his tongue, especially with the media, but then he’s also meek in his interactions with his team and the treatment he expects from them. A lot of that is tied to his father, who is wealthy and really caring and very involved (too much at times). I love the relationship between the two and how it developed over the story. And Axel, damn that guy was so wonderful. He was really knocked down by his ex and the loss of his company. Someone who made a living fixing other people's problems was struggling to find his way after it. But when ...
