  RESTING BEACH FACE Swallow Cove - Book Four by DJ Jamison Release Date: February 20, 2025 Review Declan is so beautiful. Quiet, a little grumpy, a little withdrawn, and maybe a little lost and lonely. Then there’s Cash - outgoing, sexual, and completely obsessed with Declan.  It’s a slow burn. One that requires both of them to shift their understanding of each other, and time to truly learn and understand both themselves and the other. I love both the trajectory of the relationship as well as the life and home they build.  It’s a truly wonderful pairing that may be my favourite in the series. Sure I see a bit of myself in Declan, but I also just adore the way Cash grew and how they balanced each other.   THE SNUGGLE IS REAL Christmas Falls - Season Two by DJ Jamison Release Date: November 12, 2024 Review Aw Ford. What an amazing man and father. But he also breaks my heart. Living in the happiest, most Christmassy place on earth while feeling so disconnected and lonely. I’m so glad he did have some people in his corner. And now he also has Mason.  Their meeting may have been a little awkward but the friendship built on kindness and care is beautiful. And of course, you cheer them both on the whole way through. This third book has been teased in previous stories. That of Kevin and his immense crush on his friend's dad. With a significant age gap, Kevin’s insecurity over his gender fluidity, and Garrett’s job that has him on the road 3 weeks out of 4 every month, these two have a few hurdles to navigate if they want to get their happy ending. Though Garrett accepts his bi-sexuality with relative ease, there is still the need to come out and face how others will feel about it. Skyler’s friend group is featured in it. We also met Skyler in book one, the young man who came to Fletcher’s rescue. So now we finally get to know him better, and the reason for his arrival in town. He’s quite a nice man, a little lost and a bit beaten down, he needs time to reclaim himself. Two things help with that. The resort project, and his pretend boyfriend Brooks. Brooks is a bit grumpy and guards his heart fiercely. Both are trying to keep a family legacy alive. Austin is feeling the strain of running a record shop - changing community, changing economy, pandemic - the big entertainment store moving in across the street is the last straw.  Chase is trying to save the family legacy before his grandmother sells the company. There’s a lot riding on this new store. He wasn’t prepared for the hot store owner who sees him as the enemy. But Chase is a force to be reckoned with and Austin is no match for his charm and his eagerness to do right by Austin and the community.
