REVIEW: Daddy's Firm Hands by Mae Malone (Saddle Up #4)

DADDY’S FIRM HANDS Saddle Up - Book Four by Mae Malone Release Date: September 26, 2025 Review A great premise for a book.  A guy on the run from his mafia family and winds up taking refuge on a ranch. Mile and Stone are cute together, and it’s fun to see how easily they fit together. Not just in terms of their kink but also with Milo bringing his business skill sets to the table and Stone finding some okay with his obsessive traits.   There’s also a great cast of characters around them on the ranch. There were a few things that drew me out, particularly Milo keeping the mafia a secret, even when the mafia shows up, and then Stone being at fault for calling Milo out for keeping the secret. It felt like contrived drama. But overall, it was an enjoyable and quick read.   NORTH’S POLE Camp Bay Christmas by Leta Blake Release Date: November 2, 2022 Review This was a sweet NA story of a guy with famous parents who accidentally posts a below-the-waste photo on his social media, he goes running to his ex-bodyguard/crush whom he abruptly fired three years earlier. Set in the quaint lakeside hotel, Camp Bay. It has been a sanctuary of sorts for Liam throughout his life, so North runs there when’s in need of one.  After years of separation and pining they finally reconnect, and while Liam helps support North through his crisis, they are faced with the possibility of something they’ve wanted for a long time.  Each other. I wasn't in love with North’s immaturity and helplessness but otherwise, this is a cute story. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Located on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille in beautiful Northern Idaho, Camp Bay Chalet is a discrete and cozy B&B, popular with both locals and minor celebrities for its fabulous holida...
