Nathan, who for some reason makes Jamie want to step out of his comfort zone. Nathan lives his life unattached and constantly moving. It’s just him and his Bulldog Mabel (the most adorable relationship ever). Though he’s not had a problem moving on from his one-night stands, he can’t seem to forget the sweet Micah. It really is a wonderful story, and I’m looking forward to seeing what other stories he brings us.   CHASING YOU by Felicity Snow Release Date: February 14, 2023 Review This was such a great novella by debut author Felicity Snow. The characters were so captivating. Their desire and longing were palpable but to say their situation was complicated is an understatement.  They originally meet when Cash is in his final year of high school and Emmett is at the beginning of his teaching career. They connect on a deep level and secretly pine for each other until Cash moves away for school. Until five years later when Cash returns. Only Emmett is now engaged, having thought he was finally over Cash. This novella is a little angsty, a little forbidden, but a whole lot of lovely. I was hooked the entire time. Sometimes love is complicated but when it’s real, it’s worth fighting for and figuring out.  If this is what Felicity can do with 27K words, we are in for a treat with this author and her future work.   MOONLIGHT Down the Shore - Book One by Evie McGlynn Release Date: December 29, 2022 Review What a fantastic debut novel by Evie McGlynn. I didn’t want to put this one down, I only did because…life….but in the end, I stayed up till 1:30 in the morning to finish it! It was soft and beautiful and redemptive, full of love and kindness, but it also had external drama and suspense. It was the perfect combination and it kept me engaged the whole way through. It helps that both the MCs where great people who you wanted to see get their second chances and find success. And most of all you wanted them to get their safe place with each other. A place where they find love and happiness in all parts of their lives. You also stuck around to see the horrible people get the comeuppance. And the friends…there were so many amazing friends, family, and associates. I want all their stories and happy ever afters, and if we get to catch glimpses of Sean and Jeremy along the way…oh well!
