REVIEW: Moonlight by Evie McGlynn (Down the Shore #1)

Image
MOONLIGHT Down the Shore - Book One by Evie McGlynn Release Date: December 29, 2022 Review What a fantastic debut novel by Evie McGlynn. I didn’t want to put this one down, I only did because…life….but in the end, I stayed up till 1:30 in the morning to finish it! It was soft and beautiful and redemptive, full of love and kindness, but it also had external drama and suspense. It was the perfect combination and it kept me engaged the whole way through. It helps that both the MCs where great people who you wanted to see get their second chances and find success. And most of all you wanted them to get their safe place with each other. A place where they find love and happiness in all parts of their lives. You also stuck around to see the horrible people get the comeuppance. And the friends…there were so many amazing friends, family, and associates. I want all their stories and happy ever afters, and if we get to catch glimpses of Sean and Jeremy along the way…oh well! Seriously, so glad

NOVELLA REVIEW: Sing in the New by Nico Flynn (Slow Burn Holidays #3)

Image
SING IN THE NEW Slow Burn Holidays - Book Three by Nico Flynn Release Date: December 29, 2022 Review This has been a cute series of holiday-themed novellas about guys who needed to find the courage to tell their best friend the truth about their feelings. Sing in the New is book 3, and was really great. Nick and Tyler were really great guys who have been pining for each other for years, but it takes Nick’s mother laying down an ultimatum with Tyler, and some meddling on her part (!) to get these two over the friends-only line. Sometimes even if you can see the signs, you still need a loving push to help you along the way. It was a really lovely moment when they finally admitted their truths. Such a sweet story. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis They both want it. They just need some help getting there. The older I get, the less I care about all the BS in life... especially the things that have held me back from telling Nick how I feel about him. The fact that he’s my best

REVIEW: Champagne Charade by Leighton Greene (Friends of Friends #5)

CHAMPAGNE CHARADE Friends of Friends - Book Five by Leighton Greene Release Date: December 29, 2022 Review Sweet, hot, cute, funny, and little nerve racking!! There is no denying these two have enough chemistry to singe the pages, and I loved how these two secretly pined for each other, but they had set the rules as being just casual and both were afraid to hope for more. So what better way to deal with secret feeling?...have a fake relationship!! LOL While pretending to be in a relationship was to help Tyler keep his friends off his back…he forgot how much his friends care and want to protect him. So of course, some drama ensues as these two try to keep the truth from their friends, while also keeping their feelings a secret from each other. Love these two as they navigate their way through the chaos of friends and a wedding, while also trying to sort out what could be a beautiful relationship, if only they can find a way to come clean. A great novella full of kinky fun, demanding f
