INEVITABLE by Briar Prescott Release Date: April 10, 2021 Audio Release Date: October 26, 2021 Narrator: John Solo Review It was inevitable that I would love this book. Briar is an incredible writer, and this story was beautiful.  Drew and Bas are best friends who have been circling the fact they love each other. A mix of believing they don’t deserve their love and worried their feelings won’t be reciprocated. Enter Ezra, a young man who’s struggling, but damn I love how relentless he is in not giving up. But it also leaves him with trust issues. And believing Drew and Bas could be real definitely requires trust. I loved the journey this union took. It felt organic and natural. I enjoy a story with push and pull, and that was especially true with three men trying to find their way together. Oh, the epilogue…pretty special! PS. if you love audiobooks, this one is narrated by none other than John Solo. His sexy voice and style lent well to this story. Add to your TBR List GOOD...

AUDIO REVIEW: Rare by Briar Prescott

RARE by Briar Prescott Release Date: June 16, 2020 Audio Release Date: April 20, 2021 Narrated by Iggy Toma & Alexander Cendese Review We first meet Alex. And let me tell you, I wanted to gag him! He’s an obnoxious little s**t. Even if you could see why he was the way he was I was completely exasperated by him. Which is a testament to the writing, and of course the audio narration that created such a vivid character. Also knowing that the author would make me fall for him along the way helped. He’s a typical rich kid causing havoc everywhere he goes. Attitude for days. Couldn’t help but agree that the best place for him would be the last place he would want to be! Noah is his opposite. Quiet, sweet, and completely selfless. It’s a match made in heaven really. Noah has lived a sheltered life, so you can see his attraction to the wild and impulsive man. And he’s exactly what Alex needs. Someone to show him care and attention. This is an epic love story that spans many years, al...

REVIEW: Just a Taste by Briar Prescott

JUST A TASTE by Briar Prescott Release Date: April 9, 2024 Review I love Briar’s dialogue and banter. It brings lightness and fun to a story. Especially between these two distant step-brothers, who are definitely opposites in pretty much every way.  Lake is a grump (with a well-earned) chip on his shoulder, who does his best to keep people at arm's length. Whereas Ryker is optimistic and happy, but also patient and gentle. It’s a good balance, but one that also highlights their very different upbringings. It’s a cute story of Ryker finding a way into Lake’s life and wanting to do right by him.  And what they get in the end is so much more.  Truthfully I’m always a sucker for the closed-off guys finding happiness and love. The fear and hurt are such a heavy weight to carry.  Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Lake So... I’m getting married. Just three minor details: my husband-to-be is technically also my step-brother, he’s straight, and we’re absolut...

REVIEW: Until You by Briar Prescott

UNTIL YOU by Briar Prescott Release Date: May 16, 2023 Review This was absolutely fantastic.  I couldn’t get enough. Briar did an incredible job at drawing me right from the beginning, providing me enough information to move the story forward, but holding back some info that kept me guessing for a long while. I loved it. I also have to say, the dialogue was incredible. Good dialogue is my favourite part of a story, and excellent dialogue will have me worshipping at an author's feet. It helps that the character's brand of humour was on point with my own, so I definitely felt an affinity with them both. They made me chuckle the whole way through. The story, the progression of their relationship, Jude breaking down his own walls, it was all so beautifully done. Told from the single point of view of Jude, it was super fascinating to see the story solely through his eyes. But especially to see Blake through his eyes. Uncovering who someone is through the eyes of another is always en...
