REVIEW: Shadows Never Lie by Lark Taylor (Shadow Duet #1)

Image
Shadows Never Lie Shadow Duet - Book One by Lark Taylor Release Date: May 1, 2026 Review Oh wow, this is definitely the darkest and angstiest book of Lark’s! This is mainly the beginning or early years. How Dominic and Ryan came to be. Ryan is a twin with Max, and his twin is terrible to him. And Max is best friends with Dominic, who is honestly equally terrible. But somewhere along the way, Ryan and Dominic manage to find a connection. Causing further tension with Max. It’s such a complicated and tense period. And just when Ryan thinks they are finding something solid, a future, Dominic f’s it all up. This is one of those stories where you know in the end you’ll love him, but in the meantime, you mostly dislike Dominic. He’s not without cause, but he makes you want to scream at him almost constantly.  And I suspect I’ll scream a few more times in book two before I swoon. And brother Max, I’m not sure I even want you to find any redemption! Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LIN...
