He’s driven away so many nannies, until he meets his match in the uber competent and very lovely Harper. Harper is patient and kind, but he’s also not willing to be walked all over. His ability to handle Matty’s worry and feelings of inadequacy is especially great. But so is the way that Matty falls for Harper and wants to dote over him. Honestly, it’s just an awesome story. A perfect balance of lightness and emotion, love and fun, and of course, and it has a really terrific kid in the mix.  There’s also plenty of great moments with Matty’s teammates, who love their captain and each other, and always have each other’s backs, but are also a bunch of goofballs!   COCKY BASTARD by Charlie Novak Release Date: April 24, 2025 Review Goodness me, Austin is absolutely everything I could want him to be. He may have a smirk that can knock the wind out of you, but he’s a hidden romantic too, even if he didn’t know it! We, of course, have seen Austin and Jude/Kanan in other stories, and I loved them, but I was definitely curious to see how they get together, and it was everything. They are both incredible. They have sooooo much sexual tension, and such a unique back story - having met as young stars, they traversed an interesting life in each other's orbit. But they are older and wiser now and still as infatuated. I think many of us can relate with Jonny - having strong feelings but not understanding why or what they mean.  And his obliviousness is kind of endearing, even if he is driving everyone a little insane. He’s cute. Though so is Devon and his pining.  And frustration. He may love his best friend, but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to strangle him from time to time. But man, once they get together….smoochy goodness. And some hot possessiveness!
