AUDIO REVIEW: The Spooky Life by SE Harmon (The Spectral Files #4)

THE SPOOKY LIFE The Spectral Files - Book Four by SE Harmon Release Date: April 18, 2022 Audio Release Date: September 6, 2022 Narrator: Kirt Graves Review Danny and Rain’s banter is perfection! Such a fantastic couple. Solid despite the craziness that Rain’s abilities bring to their lives. The pending wedding drama was a lot of fun, but also highlighted how connected they were and what they would do for each other. And the case was super intriguing. The ghosts in this series aren’t the innocent types who just wander halls at night. And your constantly guessing how they are going to solve the case and the ghost involved. This is an amazing pairing and series. I want them in my life, as friends. Warm and funny. And if you are into audiobooks I highly recommend this series. Kirt Graves is talented and brings the boys and their spooky companions to life. AUDIO REVIEW: Spooky Business by SE Harmon (The Spectral Files #3)

SPOOKY BUSINESS The Spectral Files - Book Three by SE Harmon Release Date: September 14, 2020 Audio Release Date: March 9, 2021 Narrator: Kirt Graves Review I’m so glad I ‘discovered’ this series. It’s absolutely fantastic, and I adore Rain and Danny. It’s one series I wish would never end. The mystery solving coupled with the ghostly abilities make for an incredible storyline.  The banter between them is so good, and you see so much love between them in it. But it’s also still a work in process, which makes it feel more real. Danny is such a wonderful man, so patient with Rain who still remains a bit skittish. I could use a Danny in my life. The case itself is wildin’ and kinda nerve-wracking, but it works at bringing our boys closer together. I highly recommend listening to the audiobooks, Kirt Graves is masterful. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Being insatiably curious is a good way to end up dead. Rain Christiansen, cold case detective and reluctant ...

AUDIO REVIEW: Principles of Spookology by SE Harmon (The Spectral Files #2)

PRINCIPLES OF SPOOKOLOGY The Spectral Files - Book Two by SE Harmon Release Date: January 14, 2020 Audio Release Date: June 23, 2020 Narrator: Kirt Graves Review Book 2 is even better because we’ve gotten to know Rain and Danny, and now that they are back together, we really get to sink into their relationship and personalities. They are sweet with a side of snark, and a whole lot of stubbornness. Danny is such a wonderful grumpy bear. Strong and steady and I love how eager he is for a future together. The man is patient with a capital P.  I also really enjoy watching Rain settle into his gift. Now that he’s accepting of it, it’s super interesting to see what he can do with it. The case is wild and super fascinating and kept me thoroughly engaged.  I can’t wait to see where things go in the future. I also have to mention (again) how wonderful Kirt Graves is as a narrator. He's perfect for this series. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis No one said being a medi...

AUDIO REVIEW: P.S. I Spook You by SE Harmon (The Spectral Files #1)

P.S. I SPOOK YOU The Spectral Files - Book One by SE Harmon Release Date: November 18, 2019 Audio Release Date: October 23, 2018 Narrator: Noah Michael Levine Review EM Denning led me to try this series and it’s a reminder that I should trust EM in all things!! I adore suspense/detective romances, especially serials.  These two are intriguing, and I just know they are going to be pretty special.  This is my first foray into ghostly paranormal romances, so I’m excited to see how that all plays out too. I love all the snark, pushy ghosts, and a chance for a second chance at love. There is nothing better than two people who are meant for one another, who fell apart and get an opportunity to set things right. But not without some work. And I have no doubt theirs going to be some interesting times ahead. This was performed by narrator Noah Michael Levine, the first time for me, and he was excellent. I really enjoyed his voice, pacing, and portrayal of the characters. Add to your TB...

AUDIO REVIEW: Coddiwomple by SE Harmon

CODDIWOMPLE by SE Harmon Release Date: April 11, 2021 Audio Release Date: September 22, 2021 Narrator: Nick Hudson Review This was my first SE Harmon story and oh my gosh I absolutely adored this story. Like, want to listen to it again and again. It was so gorgeous and touching and it had the perfect combination of emotion and tension with sweetness and tenderness.  The longingness between them, gah, but also the longing for life to have been different just drew me in. Journey and Cameron are perfect for one another, there is no question of that, but where Journey needed to break free of the oppression of taking care of his family at such a young age, Cameron needed the stability of staying put.  This second chance is everything I could want. I just wanted to bask in this story forever. Cameron and Journey have my heart! PS. Nick Hudson was phenomenal as the narrator for this. He helped make this beautiful story even more mesmerizing. Truly can’t get enough of this one....
