REVIEW: Bootylicious by Becca Seymour (Legends Series)

BOOTYLICIOUS Legends Series by Becca Seymour Release Date: July 31, 2026 Review I’ve been obsessed with reading this series since my first look at the covers! I mean, they are amazing, and I’m super excited by the Legends theme. Bootlicious is a bigfoot/human pairing. Boone is in charge of a monster network, carrying the weight of that responsibility on his shoulders. Meaning he rarely has fun. But his one indulgence is a slightly accident-prone researcher, Elias. He follows him around, keeps his equipment safe, and rescues him when necessary (more often than you’d think!). There’s not just the funny and sweet encounters between these two, but there’s also a larger world of cryptids and monsters, their worldview, and a bit of a creepy mystery. I can’t wait to follow the world and its other couples. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Bigfoot Boone has one job: protect the forest, manage the Monster Network, and absolutely not get emotionally attached to humans. He’s al...

VAREK Monsters & Mates - Book Three by Becca Seymour Release Date: June 19, 2026 Review Action packed! The world and its problems are ready to implode, and it’s a battle to see which side will win. The Queen is ruthless and will do anything to achieve the power she’s after. Including torture and dungeons. Her reign needs to end! And Varek and Pax have had a complicated 10-year relationship. Enemies but fated mates, yup, complicated. But when Pax is captured, and Varek rescues him, they can no longer avoid each other, and Pax is struggling to continue to hate Varek. Working together to figure out what is going on and how to save everyone, their bond strengthens, and they become a romantic powerhouse out to save the world. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Falling for the monster who ruined your life? Yeah. That wasn’t on my Terrafeara survival bingo card. I’ve survived this world by making myself untouchable—sharp edges, sharper instincts, and zero room for mistakes...

REVIEW: Kael by Becca Seymour (Monsters & Mates #2)

KAEL Monsters & Mates - Book Two by Becca Seymour Release Date: June 14, 2025 Review Ooh, the arching storyline is really getting interesting!! The couple is, too. Sonny is a spicy and determined guy. I love his fierce survival instinct. He finally meets his fated mate.  Too bad it’s Kael, the reluctant Royal guard. Kael is loyal to a fault, in a world that demands just that.  He’s conflicted between duty and his mate. But there’s no denying their connection, and, in fact, it’s key to helping save Dawson—the young man in dire straits. Love this couple so much, and I’m excited to see how the story arc plays out. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Falling for a royal guard with glowing eyes and a lethal energy punch? Definitely not on my Terrafeara survival bingo card. But here we are. I’ve spent over two years in this stitched-together world of monsters, rebels, and volatile rifts, doing my best to stay under the radar—mostly. That ends the moment an Aussie...

REVIEW: Solan by Becca Seymour (Monsters & Mates #1)

Image
SOLAN Monsters and Mates - Book One by Becca Seymour Release Date: March 13, 2025 Review One minute you're at home, the next, your home is in a different world. If it’s fate, they certainly have a chaotic way of going about bringing people together! Jack and his nephew Jamie get separated from the rest of their family end up in a world of monsters whose society is run by rulers who only see the use people can provide them. Thankful they meet Solan. Together they try and sort out what happened and how to stay safe, all while their connection becomes undeniable. It’s a fascinating world, and a terrifying concept! But the characters are dynamic and lovely, and it had me glued to the page to learn more and discover what comes next. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Getting a boner for the monster who saved us shouldn’t make sense in any universe. But here we are. When a piece of Earth gets ripped into a monstrous new world, I barely have time to panic before I’m fighting f...

REVIEW: Mending Hearts by Becca Seymour (Chords & Courts #3)

Image
MENDING HEARTS Chords & Courts - Book Three by Becca Seymour Release Date: May 28, 2026 Review Wow, this trilogy has blown me away. It also destroyed me, and it was basically three books of me crying, but the journey, pain, & love was absolutely worth it. We all cursed Ollie the entire way through book 2, and there was worry about how he could possibly redeem himself and win Rafe back. But they did it.  And it was THEY. It took both working together, at the same time, to find their happy ever after. And as long as you don’t torment yourself with the years they ‘lost’, you’ll know that sometimes you have to go through some things in order to find your forward. Truly an incredible story. One of those books (series) that i feel honoured to have read. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Ollie Marshall has spent years mastering control—on the court, in the media, in the careful spaces between truth and survival. But control shattered the night everything went pub...

REVIEW: Shattered Hoops by Becca Seymour (Chords & Courts #2)

Image
SHATTERED HOOPS Chords & Courts - Book Two by Becca Seymour Release Date: April 16, 2026 Review OMG, shattered. Pure and utterly shattered! I love both the guys, full heartedly love them. I’m rooting for them every moment. That being said, I want to smother Ollie with a pillow on the regular. He lets the fear win, over and over, and hurts himself and Rafe. Especially Rafe. At EVERY turn he chickens out, and no matter how much you want them together, you also want to tell Rafe to walk, maybe run, away. This is an emotional story, part 2 of three. And I’m not happy that I have to wait for the final book because I am entirely invested and I NEEEEEED to know how they find their way. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Ollie Marshall has spent his entire life being composed. On the court, that control makes him dangerous. Off the court, it’s how he survives. Now a rookie in the basketball league, Ollie is fighting for minutes, reputation, and a future that depends on sta...
