MARSHMALLOW MOUNTAIN Big Boys Small Spaces - Book One by AJ Truman & MA Wardell Release Date: October 22, 2024 Review If you haven’t been salivating for this release, you’ve been living under a rock.  Two fantastic authors, an adorable cover, and big boys in love…heck yes! And really AJ and MA’s writing styles blend beautifully. From the first page, I just knew they were a perfect match. As were Marshall and Marshall.  Normally a character like Marsh would drive me a little crazy, always making jokes, about everything, all the time, but he’s endearing and struggling. But you walk away from Data again and I’m hunting you! Data the sweet man, who always does what’s right deserves love and answers, and not in that order. And passion, he deserves to find his passion. The chemistry between them is *chef’s kiss* and they are a perfect balance for each other. I couldn’t have come up with a better ending for these two finding happiness together and within. REVIEW: Out of My Mind by AJ Truman (Browerton University #3)

OUT OF MY MIND Browerton University - Book Three by AJ Truman Release Date: September 19, 2016 Review Families and their expectations can be tough. But especially so when those expectations are tied to one's sexuality.  And being young and still figuring yourself out, who you want to be, it’s a lot. Mac and Gideon both have their one paths to travel and it’s not always smooth as they converge but it’s worth it in the end. They are young, so there is some fun, and definitely some sexiness, there’s also a lot of wonderful self-discovery. I absolutely enjoyed this story, and would definitely recommend the audiobook which is narrated by the great Alexander Cendese. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis A no-strings-attached hookup with his "straight" roommate? Mac hit the college sex jackpot. After being dumped and evicted by his boyfriend, Mac needed a place to live ASAP. But room with Gideon? The guy who held off announcing he was straight until after Mac went in ...

AUDIO REVIEW: The Fireman and the Flirt by AJ Truman (Single Dads Club #4)

THE FIREMAN AND THE FLIRT Single Dads Club - Book Four by AJ Truman Release Date: March 27, 2024 Review I was originally going to read this one, but when AJ announced that the audiobook was out already, I jumped on that. It’s my first audiobook of theirs, and let me tell you, it was fantastic. His writing style is perfect for narration, and it was expertly done by Nick J. Russo. They seem like a perfect pairing. Nick captured the fun nature of the AJ’s style, and did a fantastic job at sucking you right it. Not gonna lie, I love the Single Dads Club, and was excited for another member to join their ranks.  Derek was a high school hockey god back in the day, and he has returned home with his daughter after the death of his wife. Needing a fresh start and some family.  That fresh start includes finding a home with the help of Cary, the nerdy friend of his brother Cal (book 1).  Cary is a warm and bubbly guy and also happens to be slightly (and hilariously) awkward ar...

REVIEW: Advanced Chemistry by AJ Truman (South Rock High #4)

ADVANCED CHEMISTRY South Rock High - Book Four by AJ Truman Release Date: September 6, 2023 Review Just because someone’s a teacher doesn’t mean they can’t have a wild side! And trust me, the nerdy chemistry teacher knows how to have (and give) a good time! And when Chase, Sebastian, and Anton come together….explosive! I absolutely love the two jocks (with very different personalities) and the nerd combo. I love that they all have differences that make them perfect together, but also they each have things in common with each other that bring beautiful balance to the whole relationship. I would say this is on the lighter side, with a lot of fun moments and especially some heat.  And that’s not to say there isn’t a ton of emotion and some struggles along the way.  I wanted to wrap up Sebastian in a tight hug and protect his poor heart. But in the end, they work through their worries beautifully and create a unified bond. If you enjoy MMM, this is a fun one to add to the m...

REVIEW: Romance Languages by AJ Truman (South Rock High #3)

Image
ROMANCE LANGUAGES South Rock High - Book Three by AJ Truman Release Date: April 26, 2023 Review Firstly, Julian’s mother can choke on her salad. Kind and lovely Julian deserves the world of joy and love. Thankfully his eccentric and hilarious grandmother is there to balance out that woman. Doubly thankful for Seamus, who’s more than happy to boost his self-confidence.  Regarding his body and his sex skills! "Was I so drunk that I imagined Seamus offering to deflower me? 'That's what friends are for. ' Friends were for giving you a ride when your car broke down, not for letting you ride them." Yup, the straight Spanish teacher and baseball coach is offering himself up to Julian as a sex play toy so he doesn’t end up a 35-year-old virgin.  You can imagine how much fun that is. And how likely the no emotions rule is going to stick. LOL. Romance Languages has a great body positivity message and some really sweet moments about learning that your value goes beyond you...
