They have such a wonderful bond and are so perfectly supportive of each other. I love the playful vibes of the story, as well as the hot sexy topics. But I also enjoyed some of the touching moments, particularly in regards to the issues with Ash’s parents. It all worked well together. If you like adorable co-dependent step-brother-BFFs then Ash and Colin got you! Geez, their frat is really making a name for itself in the stepbrother department.   TWISTED RIVALRY by Devon McCormack Release Date: May 16, 2024 Review This was one of those books where I knew I would like it because it was Devon McCormack, but there was a moment early on where I panicked because I sometimes struggle with manipulative and cruel characters and I wasn’t sure I could handle Ryan’s brother. But let me tell you…this story made my brain explode in the best possible way. It was jaw-droppingly good and left me just staring into space for a long while after. I was so utterly enthralled through every twist and turn, with every truth revealed. Though this story is, in fact, TWISTED, there are plenty of sweet moments and tenderness which works beautifully to balance it out. And let's not forget that there are some scorchingly good scenes! And with how it all happened, and with how the father/step-father treats them, it’s no wonder they have a complicated relationship. But they’ve somehow made it work with their frenemies vibes and often ridiculous bets. But when one bet outdoes all the rest, things are about to change dramatically. This a fun story that is full of snark and banter. You frequently just shake your head at them with a smirk on your face. It was also pretty hot. These two just fit.
