  HIS FIRST SURRENDER Stonewall Investigations Miami - Book Three by Max Walker Release Date: February 23, 2020 Audio Release Date: July 13, 2021 Review Another enjoyable edition to the Stonewall Investigations world. Not my favourite of the cases, but I loved Rocky and Sam’s romance. It was cute and tentative, which blossomed into something strong and beautiful. It started in the worst way.  Sam is a suspect in Rocky’s latest case. Not the best of starts, and as it becomes clear Sam is not responsible, and in fact, possibly in danger, these two grow closer.   FULL MOON FACEOFF Wolves of Burlington - Book One by Max Walker Release Date: March 25, 2026 Review I love the cross of the very normal hockey player romance paired with paranormal wolf shifters. It’s just an unexpected mix, and i’m here for it. It’s a sweet found family vibe, with a side of chaos and external threats. Elijah is the newest member of the team, and he can tell the moment he walks in he’s going to like it here. But he doesn’t know how much until he meets teammate Gabe. A tall drink of water he can’t get out of his mind. Gabe is closeted and has an even bigger secret than that.  But he’s kind, thoughtful and attentive, so they find themselves falling for each other. Despite fears of being hurt or feared. They are a cute couple, and when they are faced with threats they show their true mettle, and feelings! Like to wonder how they could possibly find a happy ending when an investigator falls in love with the very killer he’s chasing?  M. Walker keeps us on edge almost to the end while also making us fall in love with both of them and desperately trying to figure out how they could possibly make it all work.   Theo is an especially dark serial killer - but you understand him all the same. You should want to hate him… Jace is a lovely guy, though a little lost. Searching for his new path in life after some devastating losses and struggling with some mental health issues. Finding love helps heal some hurts, while also bringing it’s own complications.
