BOYFRIEND MATERIAL London Calling - Book One by Alexis Hall Release Date: July 7, 2020 Review The writing is fantastic, and the narration is even better. Joe Jameson is phenomenal. It’s my first audiobook with him as a narrator and I was blown away. I love the story and the premise. A son of moderately famous parents, particularly an absent father back in the limelight. This means the tabloids have renewed interest in Luc, and all his failures (real or otherwise). Along with a cast of slightly nutty friends, colleagues, and family, a plan is hatched to get a fake boyfriend to rehab his image to save his job. Enter Oliver. A very proper, very English lawyer, who drives Luc insane at every turn. Very kind, very organized, and very thoughtful Lawyer. One has to say, Luc is obnoxious, self-centred, and a complete disaster. I wasn’t sure I was ever going to like him.
