REVIEW: The Boyfriend Proposal by Felice Stevens (Appleton Falls #3)

Image
THE BOYFRIEND PROPOSAL Appleton Falls - Book Three by Felice Stevens Release Date: September 2, 2026 Review Who doesn’t love a fake boyfriend romance? And our sweet Appleton Falls pub owner deserves his moment. Theo is a good person, pure and simple. But he lives in a small town and, until recently, had a terrible father preventing him from being open. So an offer to fake-date a man he’s crushed on seems tempting. I wasn’t sure I would truly like Jaxon.  He was honest about the agreement and the reason, but he also knew how new Theo was to dating and how much he wanted to date, yet he prioritized his career over potentially hurting Theo. But like a good romance, he grows on you, and he grows himself throughout the story. And that’s not to say he was a bad person. He’s a good guy, just a little selfish. I like how they both grew and learned along the way, and their dates and quiet moments together were special. Appleton Falls is a great town, with great friends (if slightly o...

REVIEW: Footsteps of the Past by Felice Stevens (Second Chances #2)

Image
FOOTSTEPS OF THE PAST Second Chances - Book Two by Felice Stevens Release Date: July 21, 2021 Review Chess and Andre have been together for nine years. I was leary at first; jumping into an established couple's romance normally comes with tragedy, upheaval, and pain. And though there was some turmoil here, it wasn’t as chaotic as I thought it might. I really liked them together, but I will admit there were a number of times I really questioned how long they had been together; they didn’t seem to know each other well enough to have been together for as long as they had. And though that deterred me in the beginning, the rest of the story felt powerful and real.  I was invested in their story and its outcome and was glad I was there for its journey. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis It was like in the movies: their eyes met from across the room and they fell in love. Nine years later, Chess and André are the envy of all their friends. But this is real life….and thing...

All he knows is that he’s alone, and he finds the stuffy news anchor, Sterling, infuriating. Yet, they are both consumed by the other.
