Russo Release Date: October 23, 2020 Audio Release Date: March 22, 2021 Review Little Fish and Pretty Black Bird Ah man, what a fantastic story.  I was completely mesmerized by this fascinating world, and the two men bound together for an unknown purpose.  It was such great world-building. There are four kingdoms, with four rulers who have only known peace. ‘Who wears the mark bears the crown’. They are brought together for an event that sees betrayal. What I loved (all of it!) was the distinct cultures of each kingdom and the personalities that inhabited them. I also loved their banter, which largely started as chirping and annoyance, but grew more playful the more time they spent together. “What is it, little fish?” he asked quietly.
