Chris is an endearing combination of naive with an amazing ability to see people.  And we finally get Reed Sunday’s story. May has a frustratingly lovely habit of saving a character from one series and giving them to us in another. No one really knows Reed, probably not even himself. It takes Chris, who has an uncanny ability to see to the heart of someone, to reveal him. Now poor Chris has some awakenings that come from being not-kidnapped by his not-suitor.   Copper County has plenty of characters who make smile with glee when they pop up.
