Resigned to never finding love or real friends, he finds Zeke online. And these two create a special bond even before they ever meet. Zeke is adorable - super grumpy and hot-tempered, his life is flipped upside down when Sam enters his life. Together they find so much healing and acceptance and I couldn’t love that for them more.   CONFLICTED Hopeless Blessed - Book One by Lark Taylor Release Date: September 26, 2024 Review Heaven - you got some ‘splaining to do!! If this is how you treat your people, I’m gonna stick with the Demons. Or maybe help them organize a Union.  Heaven certainly doesn’t deserve Micah. He broke my heart. I’m a sucker for a character who doesn’t feel like they're enough, pins for someone who doesn’t feel the same and sacrifices their own well-being for others.  But fate pairing him with a Demon…priceless. Nox is a menace when bored and wants attention but he makes me mushy with his protectiveness and morals. I love the impact he has on Micah. And of course how they fall in love. I’m completely stoked for the others in this series. The other characters are compelling and I think there is going to be a lot of drama to come.   HUMILITY Damned Connections - Book Four by Lark Taylor Release Date: July 31, 2024 Review Heck ya!! Such a freaking good story. Our lone wolf and commitment-phobe believe they are ‘just’ best friends. Really they are the two biggest idiots to idiot. Danny is an Alpha who doesn’t want a pack and the only way to ensure that is to never take a mate. Riley is traumatized by his mother's love life when he was a child and believes the only way to live is single and carefree. It’s part of what bonds these two as besties (that and the rest of their friends are all loved up). So they act as each other's wingman. Until they finally realize their feelings might not be as platonic as they thought. A vampire who doesn’t think anyone would want to keep him and a fire mage who’s broken, talk about double kryptonite! Add in kink. Damn! Toby believes his life purpose is to help broken men heal and then watch them move on. (break my heart). And there is no one more broken than Blaise. Blaise has made mistakes but he doesn’t believe he deserves forgiveness or happiness.
