REVIEW: Dance Dirty with Me by Jem Wendel (Dance Lovers Collection #3)

Image
DANCE DIRTY WITH ME Dance Lovers Collection - Book Three by Jem Wendel Release Date: June 9, 2025 Review This is an MM re-telling of Dirty Dancing. If you love the movie, you will definitely enjoy this. It’s a quick read that beautifully describes a summer camp, set in the UK, where these two men meet, and like the movie, ‘Baby’ steps in to help Johnny with the big performance. It’s easy to picture the scenes in your mind. It’s a little forbidden and carries the same class tension as the original.  Overall, it’s a lot of fun and has a wonderful epilogue.  Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Dirty Dancing but make it gay… Fall in love with Baby and Johnny all over again Johnny Dancing is all I know, it’s a tough life living on the edge of never knowing when the next pay packet will come. Getting seasonal work at Poplins at least adds some stability. Middle class, preppy guests don't fit in with the staff but the pretty kid that everyone calls Baby can’t seem to ...

THE HIMBO AND THE LORD Love on the Flip Side - Book One by Jem Wendel & Hinsel Meyer Release Date: March 27, 2025 Review The Himbo and The Lord is a titillating title, and I thought it might be a little more slapstick than I like, but it was anything but.  This was a really great story of two men finding their own path in life. Meeting in Australia and spanning across the globe to USA and England, they don’t get an easy journey, but they do get a valuable one. It takes some work on their communication skills, and willingness to fight for what they want and a leap of love, but they eventually get there, and it was so much better than it would have been if they didn’t have find their way. They were both likable, kind men overwhelmed by the pressure of family.  It worked really well.   Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis The sparks between them could start an inferno that will burn their lives to the ground and change them forever. The Himbo Who care...
