FIRST KISS WITH A MOTHMAN Creepin U Season 2 by CD Rachels Release Date: October 5, 2026 Review An enjoyable and cute addition to season 2 of Creepin U. A blind student with a seeing-eye bird and a mothman. Mort had fame, and he hated it; he hates that people still only see him as that instead of a person. His chip makes him lash out, which leads to a very not-meet-cute between him and Arie. But slowly they find they actually have an amazing connection. And they are going to have to rely on that connection to deal with Arie’s family and the chaos they are about to bring! Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis You’re formally readmitted to Creelin University, known locally as “Creepin U.” The only things wilder than the monsters prowling around campus are the spicy male/male love stories unfolding between classes. ‘First Kiss with a Mothman’ is a monster romance. REVIEW: The Lines We Draw by CD Rachels (Artists and Athletes #1)

Image
THE LINES WE DRAW Artists and Athletes - Book One by CD Rachels Release Date: February 2, 2022 Review A secret relationship between the soccer captain and art major. It’s not as angsty as you might expect, but also not without some tension.  Ravi is closeted, and Steven has a bad romantic history with closeted men, so there is bound to be tension. But there is also a very strong bond that is fun and sweet, and a little ridiculous in the way the young can be! But they also had some good discussions, and ultimately did a good job of working through things. It’s a great series, and lots of other wonderful couples to come. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Staying a closeted soccer player was a lot easier before I met this gorgeous arts major. Now I want so much more, but is he worth the risk? Ravi I’m perfectly fine in my comfort zone. As co-captain of my university soccer team, I know my place. I play hard on the field and my teammates look up to me. Would they look...

REVIEW: Rescued by the Chinese Warrior Prince by CD Rachels (Time Traveling Men in Love #1)

Image
RESCUED BY THE ANCIENT CHINESE WARRIOR PRINCE Time Traveling Men in Love - Book One by CD Rachels Release Date: May 29, 2026 Review This short fantasy/time traveling romance was pretty great.  I’m really enjoying CD’s foray into fantasy & paranormal.  Because it’s short, there is an element of insta-love, but it’s also got a fated vibe that makes it feel necessary rather than sudden. Was their meeting meant to be? That’s the fun of time travel.  Was it already written, or is this new? Will it change history? Carmine travels back in time to retrieve an artifact, but in his search, he meets Kurun.  A prince who is restless and dreams of a life of adventure, not that of leading a dynasty. When the artifact makes a new future possible, will he take it and the possibility of love? Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Our missions are simple: go back in time, retrieve an anomaly, come back in seven days, and don’t change the past. There’s certainly no ro...

JADE LION AND THE WITCH BOY Haunted Hearts: Season of the Witch by CD Rachels Release Date: October 13, 2025 Review I think this may be my favourite so far by CD Rachels. What ensues will not only change their lives as the two men find love, but will also change the course of history for the magical community. REVIEW: Pretty Fly for a Vampire Guy by Leslie McAdam & CD Rachels

Image
PRETTY FLY FOR A VAMPIRE GUY by Leslie McAdam & CD Rachels Release Date: June 30, 2025 Review Such a cute story with a vampire who’s a little touchy about his age, and an adorable nerd with a vampire fetish. It’s all awkward flirting until they are bonded by the cutest bat familiar that could bat. Bat Nathanson!  These two are super cute, and I loved how they helped build each other's confidence in all ways. Together, they find love and a bright future. It’s a fun read that’s relatively light, fast, and uplifting.  So if you like cute monsters…this is the book for you. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Clay I suck at being a vampire—literally. When the Halloween Wave turned a third of the population into monsters, I thought I was one of the lucky ones. I get to have my fit twenty-year-old body for decades. And vampires are supposed to be sexy, right? But now that I’m finally in university, I still don’t fit in. I was supposed to find myself and spread my ...
