I adored the men, the baby, and the best friends and family.  I don’t get baby fever, but GAH!, this really is the cutest story. Gideon is such a fantastic human being who is in over his head (as a new single parent is bound to be), and despite feeling like he needs to do it all, realizes he’s going to need help. Enter Toby, nanny extraordinaire, who is the most delightful person. Sunny, optimistic, and such an amazing support for Gideon. Not just by doing the work, but by reassuring him and helping to steady him.  Also, Toby’s family … * chef’s kiss* I’m so happy Gideon found a whole extended family in Toby. This little family they’ve created is a dream and makes me a little gooey inside. And let's talk about Glen Lloyd’s narration.  That man is such a perfect pairing for NR Walk...

  BOSSY by NR Walker Release Date: March 4, 2021 Audio Release Date: May 14, 2021 Review There’s something really sexy about these two starting as a no strings attached, no-names one-night stand that turns into another night, then another. Falling for each other even without names. Until they meet in the real world and realize just how deep into this easy hookup they actually are. Bryson and Michael just click, and even more, just make sense. Not to mention they are also capital H hot!!  “He played my body like a harp, plucking at chords I didn’t know I had, playing the sweetest song I’d ever heard.”  Though they start as a fiery hookup there are a bunch of moments and external issues that made perfect catalysts for the romance moving forward and deepening their relationship.   THROWING HEARTS by NR Walker Release Date: March 13, 2020 Audio Release Date: September 19, 2020 Review Oh my gosh.  How heartwarming was this!?!?!  I think I fell in love with every single character. They were all so special. But of course, Leo and Merrick are the stars.  Sweet, fun, and caring can describe both of these wonderful men. Leo is funny and lively and with his BFF Clyde, and LGBTQ senior, by his side, these two get up to all sorts and provide witty banter where ever they go. When it leads them to Merrick’s pottery class, they both get heart-shaped eyes. And they enter into a pretty cute courting, while also playing matchmaker for Clyde and Merrick’s uncle. So really this is a two-for-one love story! You can trust this one to make you swoon and laugh, and generally just enjoy yourself for a few hours.  Especially if you listen to the audiobook which is narrated by the ever-talented Glen Lloyd.  He just seems to get NR’s material and does a won...

  DAVO by NR Walker Release Date: April 28, 2022 Audio Release Date: May 12, 2022 Review Delightful! Absolutely delightful! As a story, and as an audiobook, it was perfect. Funny, tender, and completely unique. The narration by Glen Lloyd was completely on point. Like he nailed every single aspect of this story.  Davo is this enigma of a man. A tall brawny engineer at a mine in the middle of nowhere  Australia. And sometimes he wears skirts. Someone online described him as an “absolute dreamboat destroyer of toxic masculinity”, and it was the best description ever.  He is definitely my dream man! Fergus, with his copper hair, freckles and pale skin arrives in Pannalego to conduct research for four weeks. Looking for a change after his ex, he found it in this tiny mining town, where if the heat doesn’t kill you, the snakes might, in the arms of the most beautiful men.   MERRY CHRISTMAS CUPID Hartbridge Christmas - Book Three by NR Walker Release Date: December 8, 2022 Audio Release Date: January 17, 2023 Review This was a lot of fun and super sweet/romantic.  It’s a hallmark-y rom-com in a cute meddling town that loves it’s people and Christmas. I mean, come on, the not-out lumberjack who loves poetry falls for the handsome newcomer. And their meet-cute involves Clay offering to clean Gunter's chimney! And how can Gunter not fall for the tall sexy man who blushes and does such romantic things for him? Throw in a slightly too supportive and oversharing father, some very invested friends, and a whole town who are equal parts excited for Clay to fall in a love and for Gunter to fix up the house he bought, and you have a very enjoyable holiday story.
