I adored the men, the baby, and the best friends and family.  I don’t get baby fever, but GAH!, this really is the cutest story. Gideon is such a fantastic human being who is in over his head (as a new single parent is bound to be), and despite feeling like he needs to do it all, realizes he’s going to need help. Enter Toby, nanny extraordinaire, who is the most delightful person. Sunny, optimistic, and such an amazing support for Gideon.   THROWING HEARTS by NR Walker Release Date: March 13, 2020 Audio Release Date: September 19, 2020 Review Oh my gosh.  How heartwarming was this!?!?!  I think I fell in love with every single character. They were all so special. But of course, Leo and Merrick are the stars.  Sweet, fun, and caring can describe both of these wonderful men. Leo is funny and lively and with his BFF Clyde, and LGBTQ senior, by his side, these two get up to all sorts and provide witty banter where ever they go. When it leads them to Merrick’s pottery class, they both get heart-shaped eyes. And they enter into a pretty cute courting, while also playing matchmaker for Clyde and Merrick’s uncle. So really this is a two-for-one love story! Funny, tender, and completely unique. The narration by Glen Lloyd was completely on point. Like he nailed every single aspect of this story.  Davo is this enigma of a man.
