REVIEW: Heath by RM Neill (The Broken Horn Ranch #4)

Image
HEATH The Broken Horn Ranch - Book Four by RM Neill Release Date: December 5, 2024 Review This may be my favourite of the series. Heath is absolutely precious and you can totally see why everyone on the ranch adores him, and his open acceptance of people makes him the perfect partner for Marko. Marko is struggling with the choices of his father, as well as his own, and he needs someone who can see him for himself and who he’s become. But Heath does more than just see him. He takes care of him. It’s such a sweet story full of adorable dates and so much love. I definitely won’t look at a peacock the same again! Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Can tattoos induce a sexual awakening? Heath I met this guy, Marko. He has the best tattoos. We hang out all the time and he even loves the farm animals as much as I do. He’s Croatian and he kisses me on the cheek sometimes, too. That’s such a kind gesture and I really like it when he does that. He speaks another language and even...

REVIEW: Beauty and the Beard by RM Neill (Maple Mountain Lodge #1)

BEAUTY & THE BEARD Maple Mountain Lodge - Book One by RM Neill Release Date: February 22, 2024 Review Lovely, lovely, lovely. First of all, I love mountain/lumberjack/wilderness settings. They also always involve small towns, which is also a fav of mine. So we already knew we were going to be off to a great start. With bonus points for this being set in Canada (it makes my maple syrup-loving heart happy).  Leaf is our ruggedly handsome lodge owner, who was tragically widowed seven years earlier.  Since then he’s just been trudging along, keeping the lodge running, but not doing much else. Enter Sasha. A city boy through and through, in need of an escape and a reset. He may have been a highly successful model, but it came at a cost, and he needs to figure out what’s next and take back control of his life. A month off the beaten path seems like an excellent idea. As long as he doesn’t get eaten by a bear. The attraction between them is sweet, and Sasha’s kind but also...

REVIEW: Blaze by RM Neill (Broken Horn Ranch #2)

BLAZE The Broken Horn Ranch - Book Two by RM Neill Release Date: June 8, 2023 Review This is a comfy cozy romance that will warm your heart like a winter bonfire. One that proves that wealth doesn’t make someone invincible to heartbreak and in truth, it can make you an easier target for people who only see the money. “He's a marshmallow with a broken heart that he's still doing his damndest to protect.”  Blaze has left his corporate life behind to return to his hometown and the Ranch he co-owns with his best friend Dan.  Searching for something more fulfilling. That’s where he meets River. River is a darling of a man, who’s kind, compassionate and has such an open heart.  Getting to know them in this story was like meeting a new friend. Not only were they both really lovely people, and they had so many sweet and touching moments, but they were also fun and flirty. I especially enjoyed the fact that the billionaire wasn’t the one always taking the lead. PS. Blaze’s ex can ...

REVIEW: Colby by RM Neill (The Broken Horn Ranch #1)

COLBY The Broken Horn Ranch - Book One by RM Neill Release Date: February 16, 2023 Review Love, sacrifice, and second chances. So this book kept me up way past my bedtime. I kept telling myself that I’ll go to sleep after this chapter, but then I had to keep going to find out what happened next! Between Dante and Colby’s love story and unravelling what’s transpiring around them, I was riveted. Two step-brothers who had fallen in love as teenagers, with their whole lives ahead of them. Until one night everything changes and they are torn apart. For five years they have had no contact. The longing and deep connection between these two are palpable, and it’s heartbreaking that they lost all that time, and suffered such betrayal from someone they should have been able to trust. Dante especially, that boy deserves all the love. “I’ve not lived properly since you left, you know.” I loved the support and friendship they got from the other eclectic folks at the ranch and Colby’s best fri...
