AUDIO REVIEW: Rescue Me by KM Neuhold (Heathens Ink #1)

RESCUE ME Heathens Ink - Book One by KM Neuhold Release Date: March 28, 2017 Audio Release: October 25, 2017 Review I enjoyed this story, early work, from KM Neuhold. Book One in her tattoo-themed series, Heathens Ink. Thane and Madden meet at a nightclub where a shooting takes place. Thane rescues Madden and subsequently becomes a lifeline and friend to the troubled tattoo artist. Madden has a lot to deal with. Not just physically recovering from the gunshot wounds, but also from PTSD and addiction recovery. While it’s lovely having someone to take care of you, sometimes you need to learn to lean on yourself first. It’s heartbreaking to see all that Madden has to deal with, but also for Thane to realize he can’t fix his problems, no matter how much a loves him. This was a heartfelt story that really delved into the effects of addiction and mental health on everyone. Narrator Cooper North did a nice job with this story.  Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis I’ll save you as m

RELEASE BLITZ: Waiting for You by Cora Rose

Waiting for You by Cora Rose is now LIVE! One click Waiting for You by Cora Rose now! About Waiting for You As a divorced man in my thirties with a throwaway job and very few friends, I admit that I’ve made a lot of bad decisions over the years. Rounding out the top of that epic list was allowing my son’s best friend, Quinn, to talk me into taking him on a two-week summer road trip…alone. What was supposed to be quality father-son bonding time before Joshua goes off to college has somehow transpired into a battle of wills between me and his nineteen-year-old best friend. Quinn may be young but he genuinely seems to enjoy spending time with me, something I’ve never experienced before, and it feels nice to finally have someone care. I mean, being friends with the kid wouldn’t be so bad, right? But Quinn suddenly seems hellbent on flirting with me, and the way he looks at me is anything but friendly. My will to stay away from this sweet, attractive, and persistent

REVIEW: Love Thy Brother by Garrett Leigh (Rebel Kings MC #4)

Image
LOVE THY BROTHER Rebel Kings MC - Book Four by Garrett Leigh Release Date: March 29, 2023 Review Nope, I’m not obsessed with this series at all. Okay, I’m totally lying. I’m so totally consumed by these Rebel Kings. I love them more and more with each book. We’ve been teased with River’s story for a long time now. The ornery brother of the club’s President. The man who walked away and makes it clear at every opportunity that he wants nothing to do with them. Two problems. The club is in his blood. And he loves Rubi. And if he’d ever stop building walls he’d learn Rubi loves him too. Rubi, with his big heart and soft touch. He’s able to draw everyone in, even the elusive Alexi will let the man hug him. It’s hard not to adore him. I’m on team Lillianna & Ivy…don’t hurt Rubi! These two are magnetic, and chaotic, and so darn perfect together. They would burn the world down for each other, once they’ve finished burning themselves first. This is one of those series that I wish I could

AUDIO REVIEW: Luke by Con Riley (Learning to Love #3)

LUKE Learning to Love - Book Three by Con Riley Release Date: February 24, 2022 Audio Release Date: March 7, 2023 Review Luke is absolutely the most incredible character to ever character. I adore him. His story is incredible. The writing is incredible. I want to live in his story forever. One should also note that narrator Cornell Collins is perfection. Cornell as Luke…a dream come true! *Original Review* Luke is the headmaster of a struggling school. He’s been fighting tooth and nail to keep it going, to give his students a place that truly cares about giving them the best start in life, not just in test scores. For a place where his teachers can do what they do best and have a home too, a place to belong. He’s fighting for everyone. What he’s missing is for Nathan, the man he’s loved his entire adult life, to fight for him. He’s carrying everyone’s weight on his shoulders, but what he needs is someone, his someone, to stand with him. ‘He ordered his soft heart to harden on the way
