BABY, IT’S COD OUTSIDE Silver Shoals - Book Two by Kat Cassidy Release Date: November 18, 2025 Review I love Kat’s writing style. She has a wonderful sense of humour and writes some great lines that make you laugh out loud and want to write down. I’m happy to report that I didn’t need to kick Jackson’s butt. Because reporter…am I right?!?! Silver Shoals transplant and reporter wanted a change of pace, but is also a little tired of writing about small-town affairs. He starts chasing a story that leads him to Ben and the family company. Self-assured and definitely not a pushover, he has to make a choice when Ben, kind, warm, trusting, and prone to panic attacks, comes to him with something that could ruin himself. As these two work to get to the bottom of possible fraud, they build a deep trust in each other. And love, incredible, full love. Such a great read. DECK THE HULLS Silver Shoals Series by Kat Cassidy Release Date: November 19, 2024 Review What a great story. When things go awry, poor decisions are made, and a sweet romance is started, you get Deck the Hulls. Adam accidentally kidnaps Elijah while ‘borrowing’ his boat to dispose of a body he didn’t kill. The poor guy really was trying to turn his life around, it was just harder than he thought. But after meeting the boat captain hopped up on cold medicine and bossier than he looks, he falls hook line and sinker. It’s such a fun story, and it keeps you guessing about how he’s going to get out of this mess, but Elijah sweeps us all off our feet, and they get their dreamy happy ever after.
