REVIEW: Boy Blue by Jackie North (Boxcar Boys #2)

BOY BLUE Boxcar Boys - Book Two by Jackie North Release Date: July 31, 2026 Review I’m obsessed with boxcar boys.  This is the second series I’ve read recently that is focused on them, and it’s such a fantastic setting. The reasons for riding the rails are diverse, as are the people who do it, so the possibilities are endless. Jackie has managed to combine rail riding with small-town goodness, and I’m here for it.   END OF THE LINE Rail Riders - Book One by Nicky James Release Date: July 28, 2021 Audio Release Date: November 16, 2023 Review Such a well-crafted story. One of my favourite things about Nicky James is her unique storylines. This series follows people who ride the rails, live and work along the way. Creating a found family as they go. Some running, some searching. End of the Line is a tale of two men finding out that what they thought they knew may not be the truth, but knowing without question that they will always have each other's backs. Till the End of the Line. Killian has been riding the rails for a while now, so it doesn’t take much to recognize a newbie. Leo isn’t just new to riding; he’s clearly got secrets. As Killian takes Leo under his wing, they keep moving west, along with their friends, who slowly adopt Leo as one of them. Through complications, quiet nights with shared secrets and a beautifully growing love. It’s a really interesting and engaging story that had me...
