THE UNDERSTATEMENT OF THE YEAR The Ivy Years - Book Three by Sarina Bowen Release Date: September 29, 2014 Audio Release Date: June 20, 2016 Review For some people, coming out is the hardest thing ever. Even when it’s to be with your best friend. Especially when a traumatic event help solidifies why you were in the closet. This is a second chance story for Graham and Rikker. When they find themselves on the same college hockey team, tension is high. Because they loved each other in high school until a tragic event tore them apart. Leaving some deep emotional scars. It’s hard to watch Graham fight being gay. Torn between loving Rikker and being terrified of the world finding out. The push and pull between the two. It hurts. Meanwhile, Rikker has been forced into the spotlight for being Gay, becoming the poster boy for being an out player. It’s an excellent book. With all the angst you expect from young love and fears of coming out. It was satisfying for them to find a way to be happy an...

REVIEW: Hello Forever by Sarina Bowen (Hello Goodbye #2)

HELLO FOREVER Hello Goodbye - Book Two by Sarina Bowen Release Date: July 14, 2017 Review Another touching and emotional story by Sarina.  A little less crying  over this than book one, but still very deep. I love a second chance romance. Especially one that involves a deeply closeted man who sees no path to being able to come out. Cax and Axel were boys when they were caught kissing. They lost all contact after that. Until years later when they end up at the same college. Still feeling the same pull to the other as when they were kids. These two walk a fine line between rekindling their love and trying to fight it. With a lot at stake if they are found out, tension is high. I love when someone finds the strength to be themselves. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Basketball always brought them together. Now it might just tear them apart. Axel I always wondered what happened to my first love. But after we got caught kissing at church camp, his jerk of a fathe...

REVIEW: The Best Men by Sarina Bowen & Lauren Blakely

The Best Men by Sarina Bowen & Lauren Blakely Release Date: January 18, 2022 Review This was pure fun and sex.  A larger than life opposites attract story of a stuffy wall street type (on the outside), single dad, and a rich ex-footballer (soccer), always out for a good time. They get a dramatic start when Mark goes on a drunken rant in a group thread about Asher and his perfect abs and his smugness, not to mention the anticipated demise of his sister's wedding to Asher’s BFF Filipe. When these two get roped into heading to Miami early to coordinate the wedding plans, their poking and button pushing leads them to a Wedding fling. One problem..the more time they spend together, and get to know each other, the more they may not be satisfied with 4 days. They are a lot of fun and super interesting guys.  I loved how straight-laced Mark is nothing of the sort in bed, and confident, famous Asher isn’t confident he’s worth loving in a forever kind of way. Also, bonus poin...
