AUDIO REVIEW: Learning Curve by Kaje Harper (Life Lessons #4)

Learning Curve Life Lessons - Book Four by Kaje Harper Audio Release Date: January 27, 2022 Review JF Harding, as narrator, brings Book 4, the final in the series to life for us.  He’s been perfect for Tony and Mac.  And what can I say, as we’ve come to a conclusion of Tony and Mac’s story, it’s a bit bittersweet. Though it’s great to see their ending, we’ve built quite a relationship with them. Four books in, we know them well, we’ve been through it all so it’s a little hard to say goodbye. With that said, this was a wonderful installment in their journey. Mac is grumpily and slowly recovering from his injuries, helping more with the children while he’s off. The more he heals the sooner he gets back to work, which is too fast for Tony and too slow for Mac. Though he’s not back yet, he gets drawn into a case that involves one of Tony’s students. While helping to figure out who the murderer is and where the missing boyfriend is, Mac has to also figure out how to be bette...

REVIEW: Hidden Blade by Kaje Harper (The Road to Rocktoberfest 2022)

HIDDEN BLADE The Road to Rocktoberfest - Book One by Kaje Harper Audio Release Date: October 4, 2022 Review A powerful story of two guys brought together through a love of music, but it’s not as easy as just wanting it. Kaje writes a very vivid and compassionate tale.  One that involves one man with a great deal of very real anxiety and a lot of pain. And another who isn’t ready to give up on the dream of his band making it, even if most would argue he should give up. Both men live and breathe music though, and it becomes a catalyst to bring together this pair that would never have met otherwise. "None of them wrote lyrics that ripped my heart out and mended it, and then turned that same focus on me." Cam was beautiful and talented, and he felt so very real. While Erik was terrific in his steadfast desire to make it, and I adored how fantastic he was with Cam, able to sense perfectly when to push Cam or give him space.  They connected so wonderfully, and I loved how the...

Too bad Mac is still a workaholic, and both kids are still struggling with trauma and change.  They love each other to death, but real life is nothing like a romance novel.  If you like your couple to have to work for their HEA, if you want it to feel real…this is the series for you.  Life sometimes provides blows. You have to work to stay connected. Work to keep the love alive.  Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK S...
