REVIEW: Game Misconduct by Brigham Vaughn (Scoring Chances #6)

Image
GAME MISCONDUCT Scoring Chances - Book Six by Brigham Vaughn Release Date: August 7, 2026 Review A classic rival teammates, with one good guy and one chaotic self-centred player. If you love rivals, this will be a good time. I like Leif. Though he got caught up in the rivalry, he’s a calm presence, though is also a little closed off. From everyone. I can see why the opposites attract theory would work for him. I’ll admit, I don’t love Tanner. He’s the kind of guy who takes pleasure in making someone else uncomfortable. Not caring if he’s sharing private information. Hiding behind his chaotic, ADHD nature. He grows on me, but I never love him.  I love that they’re happy and working together to make their world of hockey a little more accepting. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis The last thing Tanner Clayton needs is to fall in love with his rival ... He loves playing defense for the Boston Harriers, hooking up with anyone he wants to, and hanging out with the boys....

AUDIO REVIEW: Made to Oder by Brigham Vaughn (Naughty in Pendleton #3)

MADE TO ORDER Naughty in Pendleton - Book Three by Brigham Vaughn Release Date: July 9, 2021 Audio Release Date: July 14, 2026 Review Have I mentioned that Brigham is part of the reason I fell for kink? Especially this small town goodness with a kind of kink that’s just a part of life. I do also particularly like her depiction of kink. Her style of writing, the descriptions of fun times, all of it just works especially well for me. And these two; Chef and Bar Manager who start off irritating each other at every opportunity, who discover that there is the possibility for something different, something more fun, something real, are everything. Donovan is still off kilter by his previous relationship ending the way it did. The years spent trying to make something work that was meant to be. He’s made to be a Dom, to care of someone. Tyler craves being able to lay down the weight of the world he’s carrying, for someone to help pick it up for him.  Only he had no idea that was an ...

AUDIO REVIEW: Embracing His Shame by Brigham Vaughn (Naughty in Pendelton #2)

EMBRACING HIS SHAME Naughty In Pendelton - Book Two by Brigham Vaughn Release Date: May 21, 2021 Audio Release Date: April 21, 2026 Review Such a great story.  I love a kink story that pushes me a bit. Forest’s needs are definitely far from my own, but watching this controlled and proper not just fall apart in an intimate way, but also breaking through the walls he has up when it comes to the idea of a long-term relationship. Finally accepting that he can have both. It’s like an epiphany. And Jarod, finding someone worth fighting for!! Gah! I also really enjoy the juxtaposition of what they get up to set against our expectations of a small town. They may be naughty, but they are also really sweet together. The series is narrated by James Edward Jones, and I’m enjoying every second of it. He’s talented and does a great job at differentiating the characters. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis A bad boy mechanic and a kinky accountant: can an indecent proposal lead to...

REVIEW: Date in the Pinch by Brigham Vaughn (Naughty in Pendelton #1)

Image
DATE IN A PINCH Naughty in Pendleton the Game - Book One by Brigham Vaughn Release Date: February 11, 2021 Audio Release Date: January 6, 2026 Review Flipping the Switch from the series was my first Brigham, kink & MMM, and I knew I was going to be a devotee to Brigham.  So it’s a little embarrassing that it’s taken so long to read the others in this series, but their coming out in audiobook has been the perfect excuse! And James Edward Jones is a wonderful narrator, who really captured the characters and the vibes of the series. Date in a Pinch is sweet, light and hopeful, with small-town goodness and lots of beautiful kink. An accidental reveal in the mailroom at the school Alexander and Neil teach at brought these two together in the most delicious way. What started as exploration and teaching Neil about the possibilities of kink, not meant to be anything more, shifted to quiet nights, sharing TV series, dates-not-dates, and knowing the person inside and out. Until fa...

REVIEW: Cheap Shot by Brigham Vaughn (Scoring Chances #5)

Image
CHEAP SHOT Scoring Chances - Book Five by Brigham Vaughn Release Date: April 10, 2026 Review I love Brigham’s hockey men. And oh how I’ve been waiting for Luke Crawford! The gruff enforcer needed to find his person and get a little soft in the heart. And who better than Sebastian, the man who’s made it his mission to harass Luke at every game because of how he hurt his friend. Can I admit, I’m only a sports fan in romance books, I hate them in the real world, and fans yelling, jeering, booing people doing their jobs is one of the reasons! So I wasn’t sure I would like Sebastian, no matter why he was doing it. But they were perfect for each other. This hook-up turned on going hook-up, turned love story was uniquely yours. Thriving off the mutual chirping, and a beautiful balance of closeness and personal independence. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis The last thing Luke Crawford needs is to fall in love with anyone … He’s got a good thing going as the Boston Harriers’ ...
