THE DRAGON’S DEVOTED DEFENDER Brinnswick: Tales from Gauhala - Book Four by Michele Notaro Release Date: March 17, 2026 Review I could really use magical powder to knock out people who make me mad, and a dungeon to lock them in! Roman and Oakley bring us a lovely story and ending to Tales from Gauhala. Oakley’s back home with his father, the King, after a traumatic childhood in the grips of his mother and a cult. But the troubles aren’t over. Thankfully, and a little awkwardly, his viramore is his bodyguard and his dad’s best friend. Together, they work to fight traffickers and keep Oakley safe. The road to being viramores isn’t entirely smooth either, but they’ve got a ton of family and friends on their side to ensure it all works out!   THE SNOW YETI’S GROUCHY WEREWOLF Brinnswick: Tales from Guahala - Book Three by Michele Notaro Release Date: January 8, 2026 Review One awkward and shy Yeti, and a grouchy, skittish werewolf. Lanche is all wholesome vibes and natury snow castles. Hot chocolate and ice skating. And hello, he’s a Yeti! Cuddle, furry yeti! Dain’s life is less snowflakes and more storm clouds. Becoming and being a werewolf is no picnic, and some of his past experiences have left him leery. But his grouchy outershell is no match for Lanche’s certainty and patience in their connection. Talk about lovely and romantic. And Dain falling in love is all kinds of perfect. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Being shy sucks. Being shy and having a crush sucks even more. But I can’t get the grouchy werewolf out of my head, so I need to do something… as long as it doesn’t include talking… Step One: Leave my crush a gift. Check . Step Two: Wait for him to open it. REVIEW: The Pushy Pixies are Going Down (Hopefully) by Michele Notaro (Carry a Faerie #2)

Image
THE PUSHY PIXIES ARE GOING DOWN (HOPEFULLY) Carry a Faerie - Book Two by Michele Notaro Release Date: November 13, 2025 Review This is a cute and playful series. Not that it doesn’t address some serious issues (animal cruelty, child neglect, loss), but it has a light-hearted feel as they tease and cuddle, and face off with some hilariously determined creatures. Following the same couple as they get to know one another, fall in love, blend and expand their friends (and pets). These faerie re-homers with magical abilities will warm your heart, question having garden gnomes, and be ready to run if you come across a pixie. But most of all you will root for them as they try to solve mysterious happenings and hold the wrong’uns to account. Though it’s entirely possible you’ll fall most in love with two particular twins! Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Are there pixies absolutely everywhere? Unfortunately. Tiny flying faeries with poisonous dust? Great… Is Winter calling me...

AUDIO REVIEW: The Vampire's Delicious Fae by Michele Notaro (Brinnswick: Tales from Gauhala #2)

THE VAMPIRE’S DELICIOUS FAE Brinnswick: Tales from Gauhala - Book Two by Michele Notaro Release Date: March 27, 2025 Audio Release Date: October 24, 2025 Narrator: Zachary Zaba Review They are both the sweetest, kindest, most loving guys around, they just seem totally different. And sure Keryth, young (compared to vampire’s) has been struggling to do whatever is necessary to take care of his siblings, just now finding his footing, while Anton has been alive for thousands of years and is wealthy and comfortable, he knows what it is to love children too, and feel loss.  They have a lot in common, and together they build an incredible family. And their bond is necessary to help them combat the latest threat. An evil clan of Vampire hunters and traffickers. It’s a sweet story, between the action and suspense of the case at hand.  I really enjoy the series and world Michele has created. It’s a diverse cast, but they are all incredibly moral and kind. The series is also reall...
