The two detectives are assigned as partners when Adam moves temporarily to Peyton for a fresh start of sorts. Their personalities are different, but they both share a deep level of trauma and pain. Which is helpful and a hindrance all at the same time. While they work together to solve cases their personalities and stories are revealed. And while some secrets are revealed, there are more to come.  What is clear is that they have great chemistry and could definitely share something special. This isn’t going to be a quaint small-town story…think realism - somewhat gritty and dark, with difficult struggles and some terrible people.   MOVEMENT Stay Grounded - Book Four by BH Lynn Release Date: Sepbetmer 21, 2023 Review We’ve returned to our beloved Alex and Trevor. These two have been through a gamut of trials and tribulations. Married life is going well for them. Alex’s business is humming along. And criminals are still making Trevor (and his BFF partner Jules) work for it. The stress of the job isn’t always easy on either of them.  Especially now that a gang war and an extremist uprising seem to have their sights set on Trevor and other law enforcement officers. I love that even when these two are struggling, they still draw strength from one another. And ultimately they’re reminded that they are stronger together. It’s been beautiful watching these two grow and find their footing as husbands. Knowing that love isn’t the be-all and end-all, it takes a commitment to make it work and to love one another each and every day through all the ups and downs.   FOREIGNER’S GOD Stay Grounded - Book Three by BH Lynn Release Date: April 28, 2023 Review Book three of Alex and Trevor. These men are starting to feel like family. We’ve all been through a lot in three books! Trevor is a very human character. He’s been through a lot and hasn’t always been great at coping. And though he’s on the right track, thanks to the love of his life, Alex, and his best friend, Jules, he still struggles. Still has to work hard to feel deserving of Alex (and let's face it, most of us don’t deserve Alex).  Throw in a serial killer that’s hitting a little too close to home, and family who have made a reappearance, and you have a recipe for just a little stress. But these two were meant to be, well and truly. This is a great addition to this series. Following our boys and the mystery was engaging. I see there’s going to be a book four…not sure how much more these two should be made to deal with, but I’m sure they’ll come out stronger in the end!! Add to you...
