REVIEW: Don't Fall by EM Lindsey (Storm Season #1)

Image
DON’T FALL Storm Season - Book One by EM Lindsey Release Date: July 1, 2026 Review Wonderful story. Engaging, touching, and with a little bit of external drama to make things extra interesting. Leo and North are both carrying the weight of the past and future. That weight is oppressive and exhausting. On top of that, Leo is also dealing with severe medical issues. They start as enemies, always snipping at each other, but over time, and thanks to some crows who both endear and irritate our MCs, they become something more , then temporary enjoyment. Until they find themselves relying on each other, seeking the other out. I really felt for these two and loved them together. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis That’s it. My neighbor has to die. There’s no other way around it. The man must be killed—and I’ll even find a way to do it gently, but this cannot go on. Okay, maybe I’m a bit dramatic, but living next to my brother’s best friend who decided to befriend the crows that...

REVIEW: Hat Trick by EM Lindsey (Legends & Fury #2)

Image
HAT TRICK Legends and Fury - Book Two by EM Lindsey Release Date: May 18, 2026 Review Micah is a hot mess!! I mean, I get it, he’s been through some stuff, and is still going through it. He and his brothers. But his walls, and issues, and outward image are no match for Vanya. The homesick, amazing, friendly Russian hockey player. Vanya always seems to be where Micah needs him. Which, thank gawd, cuz Micah has a stalker, and OMG, I can’t imagine the terror of that, especially being blind. Not being able to see the danger, and having that blindness used as part of the torture. Gah. While he stubbornly (I do mean stubborn) tries to deal with the issue by himself, Vanya refuses to let that happen. As much as I loved seeing Micah let down is walls, I’m pretty in love with Vanya finding love, and a home. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis “For five million dollars, would you send a relative to jail?” "Bud, I would pay five million dollars to send a few there." Problem...

REVIEW: Stick Around by EM Lindsey (Legends and Fury #1)

Image
STICK AROUND Legends and Fury - Book One by EM Lindsey Release Date: April 1, 2026 Review Damn, I knew Jonah’s story was going to be high emotion. With all he went through as a child, experiencing the world with a disability, and fighting to be respected as a top-tier athlete, he’s got a lot on his shoulders and very thin patience for egotistical, rude men. And boy does Alexio stick his foot in his mouth on the regular, and has a knack for making enemies. But he’s not all bad, and Jonah is perfect for him, because he’s always willing to call him out for the stupid things he says. And over time, as the walls break down, gah, they are fiery and wonderful. The effort, trials and tribulations were worth their love story. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis "Would you slap a teammate for twenty-five grand?" "Uh, yeah. There are a few I'd slap for free. Just point me in the right direction." Problem number one: My personal life is falling apart. Problem num...

REVIEW: Kiss Me Again by Garrett Leigh

Image
KISS ME AGAIN by Garrett Leigh Release Date: January 15, 2026 Review What an incredible story.  I don’t have a lot of experience with bi-polar, but this felt real and true. You could really feel both the chaos of living with, as well as loving someone with a mental health illness. Their love story feels hard-won, but also the easiest thing ever, if that makes sense. Ultimately, they are perfect for one another.  Their lives won’t always be easy or smooth; rather, fiercely loving. And I love how finding each other helps settle the rest of their lives and relationships.  Proving how amazing life can be with someone who has your back, and loves you as they are. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Aidan Drummond is happy on his own. A solitary tree surgeon, he’s made peace with working alone, eating alone, being alone. Until a serious accident tears his world apart and lands him in a hospital bed opposite the most beautiful man he’s ever seen. Ludo Giordano is...
