  BREAKING RULES WITH TRAVIS The North Avenue Live Guys - Book Three by Sophia Nixs Release Date: February 16, 2023 Review I’ve been enjoying this novella series by Sophia Nix. A found family if there ever was one that will do just about anything for each other. Travis and Gaz are best friends who had a moment that has sent them spiralling into the questions of whether it will ruin everything, or could it be more. But of course, without really talking it through, undisclosed feelings and fears lead to uncertainty. Travis tries and even asks Gaz to move to NY with him, but Gaz is paralyzed by indecision. Gaz’s default is running away and hiding. But thankful Travis doesn’t give up easily and knows how to woo a man! There are a lot of characters in this series, and for some reason, in this story, I felt a little overwhelmed by trying to keep track.   THE HOT SHOT The North Avenue Live Guys - Book One by Sophia Nixs Release Date: December 1, 2022 Review I enjoyed this story of a man fearful of coming out in a world of business, and with only a brother for family, that he is afraid he’ll lose and the struggling bar owner in need of someone to help his bar thrive. What they don’t expect is for there to be such a connection, and for their worlds to collide in so many ways. It’s an insta-love story, so they move fast in their feelings but it’s sweet that neither expected it (nor were looking for love) but they were willing to fight for it. And with a bit of angst, and some jerks in the mix, it’s not a fluffy story.  I would have loved a bit more dialogue/banter to truly connect with the men, but still made for a pleasant read and I’ll be interested to read more from this alter ego, Sophia Nixs.
