REVIEW: Keep You Safe by Annabeth Albert (Second Chance Ranch #2)

KEEP YOU SAFE Second Chance Ranch - Book Two by Annabeth Albert Release Date: August 7, 2025 Review Cheery, slightly bratty, city boy meets grumpy, serious rancher. I enjoyed their story - Adler getting his life back on track, and Grayson finding joy in being free. It’s two men finding love unexpectedly. They have baggage, sure, but their story isn’t fraught with complications. I’m always a fan of the grumpy, closed-off characters. I love watching them open up and find someone to love them, so Grayson has my loyalty.  I do have to admit, I don’t love overly cheerful, bratty types, so Adler annoyed me at times, but I know I’m in the minority on that. Second Chance Ranch is still discovering itself, but it’s turning into a gorgeous, safe place to find happiness and love. REVIEW: Delicious Chartiy Anthology: Part One

Image
DELICIOUS Anthology Release Date: May 27, 2025 Review I feel like a food-themed anthology was made for me! And the list of authors is *chef’s kiss* But it’s also a hefty one, so I’ll be back with more as i keep reading. A HOT DISH: ANNABETH ALBERT I love when an ‘I only do casual’ guy discovers he has, in fact, been dating and *gasp* has feelings! Especially a silver fox neighbour. Ah, the power of a thank you casserole. I’m going to have to try that technique. Mount Hope is such a great town, with some of loveliest, sexiest couples.  PIECE OF CAKE: BETH BOLDEN The Moretti’s have the unwitting power to make anyone fall in love. That’s not always the superpower it would seem. Sometimes it brings yummy pavlova, other times it’s a fruit salad being pelted at you! FEEDING THE GRUMP: JAX CALDER Oh, oblivious, grumpy farmer!  I love their neighbourly ‘food war’ they were having in between bickering. It’s absolutely adorable. DELICIOUSLY COOKIE: VAWN CASSIDY Vawn’s ‘Belong To ...

REVIEW: Want You Back by Annabeth Albert (Second Chance Ranch #1)

WANT YOU BACK Second Chance Ranch - Book One by Annabeth Albert Release Date: May 15, 2025 Review This is why I love Annabeth Albert.  A perfect, small-town, second-chance, heartwarming story that she is so good at. Colt and Maverick had great chemistry and banter, and I loved the way they fell back into each other’s orbit, but didn’t just pick up where they left off all those years ago, they got to know the men they are now, while supporting each other through life’s turbulence. And the young people in their lives are terrific, and it was great watching Maverick really step up for his niece. Second Chance Ranch is going to prove to be an amazing place, and I’m excited to meet those who find themselves there and what they discover along the way. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis When Maverick Lovelorn left town, it almost broke me. I’m determined to not let his return do the same. Then In high school, Maverick and I were best friends. Inseparable. We shared everyt...

OVER AND ABOVE Mount Hope - Book Four by Annabeth Albert Release Date: March 6, 2025 Review It’s all been building to Eric’s story. He’s the center of their group of friends. And as they’ve come and gone, finding love of their own. Eric is still mourning the loss of his husband and raising their children who are all growing up, and out.  Enter Magnus, the neighbourhood barkeep, that makes Eric’s heart beat a little bit faster. It’s a cute story that starts with some casual fun and connection but grows into something more. Eric, of course, struggles a bit with what it means and the idea of moving forward with his life, but I love him and even more I love him in love. It’s a great pairing, both wonderful men who bring something to the table to make their lives brighter and happier. I also share Eric’s affinity for potatoes! Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis I’m too young to be a grandpa and too old to fall in love… Sadly, there’s no What to Expect manual for naviga...
