HOT DISH Mount Hope - Novella by Annabeth Albert Release Date: January 15, 2026 Review I read this first when it was in the Delicious Anthology. I loved it then and I love it now.  It’s a quick read and quick-moving, but it’s yummy.   Brought together by a casserole, these two silver foxes find an even better way to be neighbourly! But at some point you have to decide if not dating, but actually kind of dating is enough. Grown men are adorable when they fall in love. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis An unforgettable thank you… The hottest silver fox EMT happens to live on my street. When he rescues me, I bring him a casserole as a thank you. Seems like the neighborly thing to do. However, I don’t anticipate my thank you turning into a steamy afternoon delight. Now Percy and I are heating up the sheets and finding more in common than I ever could have expected. Both Percy and I have been burned by love before. Are we ready to take a chance on love or is ...

REVIEW: On Dancer by Annabeth Albert (An Annabeth Albert Christmas #5)

ON DANCER An Annabeth Albert Christmas - Book Five by Annabeth Albert Release Date: December 4, 2025 Review A wonderful take on a holiday romance. Ballet, Nutcracker, small town, age gap, geeky gaming - all so cute. It’s a slow-burn, friendship to more, with a lot of pining, finding new passions, and some gaming to bring them together. Alexander returns home to rehab after an injury and agrees to help the local dance school where Rudy is working alongside his mother. Rudy has been crushing on Alexander since he realized he was gay.  Alexander is a little grumpy and standoffish, but it’s really hard to not want to be around the kind and caring younger man. Together they find growth and love (and make a couple of mothers really happy!). Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis Can holiday magic transform this crush into a happily ever after? Rudy: I’ve had a crush on Alexander Dasher, the legendary ballet star, since I was fifteen years old. A decade of pining from a dista...

REVIEW: Keep You Safe by Annabeth Albert (Second Chance Ranch #2)

Image
KEEP YOU SAFE Second Chance Ranch - Book Two by Annabeth Albert Release Date: August 7, 2025 Review Cheery, slightly bratty, city boy meets grumpy, serious rancher. I enjoyed their story - Adler getting his life back on track, and Grayson finding joy in being free. It’s two men finding love unexpectedly. They have baggage, sure, but their story isn’t fraught with complications. I’m always a fan of the grumpy, closed-off characters. I love watching them open up and find someone to love them, so Grayson has my loyalty.  I do have to admit, I don’t love overly cheerful, bratty types, so Adler annoyed me at times, but I know I’m in the minority on that. Second Chance Ranch is still discovering itself, but it’s turning into a gorgeous, safe place to find happiness and love. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis What happens at the swimming hole, stays at the swimming hole… When Adler arrives at Second Chance Ranch, I know he’s trouble. Adler gets under my skin like no one ...

SINK OR SWIM Shore Leave - Book Two by Annabeth Albert Release Date: February 22, 2022 Audio Release Date: February 22, 2022 Narrator: Greg Boudreaux & Joel Leslie Review Sometimes one score leads to an even bigger one. Getting to know Calder as a whole person was pretty great because he was so much more than we saw in book one. And single parent, Felix, raising his two nieces, is the perfect match for him. Calder is forced to think about more than just the moment and some fun. And as they navigate their budding feelings, his career, and the girls, they develop something strong and deep.  It was a wonderful story, and also a really enjoyable audiobook.  Greg Boudreaux and Joel Leslie do a great job delivering a compelling story. Add to your TBR List GOODREADS LINK Synopsis A meet-cute leads to more than they expected in this military-hero romance from award-winning author Annabeth Albert Navy chief Calder Euler loves to win big.
